I agree that it is annoying having to buy a specific product when you could just record the advice given and then buy what you like. However the specified product is something that I have completley run out off over Xmas and could do with stocking up. I also happen to be in the same road doing another MS soI thought I would give it a go!
I didn't realise there was a Pharmacy boycot, sorry!!!
With the Pizza Delivery, I noticed that just before Xmas there was an additional purchase required with the delivery which made the meal more than the reimbursement, fortunately there was a fee which just about covered the extra, but it's not on that they have changed the purchase without making it clear before you accept the job.

I am not for a minute suggesting a boycott. If it is a product you would otherwise be buying then it makes sense for you. My point is for those of us who don't need the medication it means the reimbursement is worth nothing.

I have a friend who is a pharmacist who agrees with me. He says the most important bit is that you get safe advice. And they are governed by very strict rules and like doctors get "struck off" if they sell products which have adverse effects.

Thanks for you help with the Gyp problem. The additional product was a big bottle of fizzy orange

It is my own fault though I should have looked up or phoned the pizza place and asked the price. For the price it cost I could have phoned a cracking Indian takeaway and got a meal for 2.

  • I had 3 RE jobs available in my area but only took the 2 with the option of an open purchase as I did not want to buy a product that would go in the bin. The questions & guidance were well presented and the visits were easy to carry out. I did think Pt2 would give it away but I said it was for an elder parent. Job Done..
Ive found RE & GB the best for food so far. My GB pizza job left me out of pocket and the servce was that bed we would never go there again.
I have had a few petrol jobs since which make it worth it.
  • For the pizza jobs, can you take the family?

On the job board system that BARE and Tern use, how do you get to see more than one page of jobs? They're in alphabetical order for me, which means that my town is on the next page, and I can't get to it!

I clicked on the box under the filtering boxes that said "open applications in same window " and ths worked for me. BUT with bare it wil load other counteries jobs into it as well.

For the GB job I did I took my partner and we shared what we were told to order on the assignment as it is timed for the starters and mains and the more you add to it the longer it would take. (I might as well have invited the family and neighbours with our waiting time). I couldent comment for TNS assignments for the speedy pizza jobs.

I want to do the pizza jobs, but if I cant take the kids its a bit of a no go :( I keep forgetting to ask every time they ring to ask me to do a different job ;)

    Is it with RA?
If it is, I think they do alot of auditing inc front of house and back of house at premises.

  • I'd quite like to get into the auditing side of things, is there a way to do this without prior experience? and if so, who should I register with?
