You need to sign up to each individual client and then they'll be visible on your page.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, I've looked all over the site for an option to sign up for other clients but can't find one! I emailed Aba-i last week to ask for other clients to be added, but so far I haven't had a reply. Am I missing something simple? Is there a client sign up page? Sorry if its obvious and I've just missed it :o . I've been MS for years, you'd think I wouldn't have these kind of problems :o !

Ring them up, ask if its possible to have more clients added. They will, if theres a requirement, add them to your client list, you will have to fill in a mini application before you can search for jobs though.
  • Will do, thanks for the advice :j

    Hi All

Just completed my first job and want to make sure I'm getting things right as far as tax liability goes so can someone confirm I've worked this out correctly as I have another Job and am going to put this into two accounts one for tax and one for a lump sum payment to reduce my mortgage.

I did a job for RE with a £5 fee, it was a five mile round trip so @ 40p per mile that's £2 and printed 8 sheets with Job notes and a copy of the questionaire @6p per sheet thats 48p meaning my liabilities are only on the remaining £2.52 so thats 50p tax as a basic rate taxpayer and 28p for my NI top up.

    Thanks for all your help

NI top up? Have you applied for a small earnings exemption, or are you in a position where this is not relevant to you?

If you don't know about the small earnings exemption, ring your local IR office and check it out......

Thanks jobbingmusician but I'm actually in full time employment. I started this for a little extra as my partner was one of those who lost their jobs at wollies this month.

I travel around so can do these in between my normal calls when there's a job in my area and thought doing this would help out a little whilst times are tough. Just wanted to make sure I don't get caught out on anything and am setting up my own book keeping system to monitor what I make.
  • Hi

I just wanted to share with everyone how vile Gapbusters are to work for.

I very successfully completed many assignments for them, and even did a few favours for them when they rung me up.

Then, purely by mistake I made an error with one of my assignment papers, and when the guy rung me from Australia, and I tried to explain myself, he asked me whether I had finished "Ranting" in his words, and then told me he no longer wanted me working for them.

I tried to send a complaint via their UK office, but no-one replied.

Lots of other very nice companies to work for, so screw em!

Just thought I would share

I finally lost it with Gapbuster this week - They phoned 2 weeks ago to allocate a dozen jobs, put them onto default dates and advised to email back with date changes. When I did they then took a few of them back off me because 'I breached their rules by taking them' because I had shopped the sites last - but they allocated them to me. Then they deselected jobs I had agreed to do on a special 220 mile round trip because another shopper messed up some dates so rendered my trip worthless. Then finally, out of desperation on their part, they phoned and asked if I would do some coffee shops 200 miles away. I said I would have a look as I was down in that area next week so they auto allocated jobs in wait for it - Prestwick, Dundee, Dunfermline, St Andrews and Livingston - so I type up my last jobs and de-registered on Monday. They tried to call me 2 times today .... lol

For 3 years I couldnt fault them but now I guess their rapid loss of clients and also shoppers is finally gettng to them

I am yet to get "the bad" experience from them yet but I know it's only a matter of time! I've read so many complaints about them on this forum. I am doing 4 assignments for them next week so lets see what happens.

Hi, I have been reading through the posts on this board and am thinking of registering with a couple of MS sites. I have been reading up on the potential tax implications and would be grateful if any of you more experienced shoppers could give me a clue on roughly how much tax I would have to pay? I doubt whether any money I would make here would go anywhere near the threshold - I am not personally bringing in any other income (I am a stay at home mum and we live off my husband's salary) so a few tenners here and there would probably be all that I would earn. I just want to know if it's worth doing, if I am going to have tax taken off at the end. Thanks.
