  • GAP phoned me last night and asked if I wanted to do a chicken job today, despite the fact that I am already doing one for them today. I said no and they asked about next week, they were really desperate so:

I asked about a premium, they said No
I asked about a petrol job, they said No

So I said No to them. Seems they want loads of help but aren't prepared to do anything in return for us.

Thanks jobbingmusician but I'm actually in full time employment. I started this for a little extra as my partner was one of those who lost their jobs at wollies this month.

I travel around so can do these in between my normal calls when there's a job in my area and thought doing this would help out a little whilst times are tough. Just wanted to make sure I don't get caught out on anything and am setting up my own book keeping system to monitor what I make.

If you are in full time employment, you are already paying your NI. Do what Auntie Jobbingmusician says - contact the IR office and ask for a small earnings exemption form for NI!
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Hi cheap_charlie they normally pay the month after the job and it's takes about a week from the date on the home page they paid you for you to see it on your account.

The payment as far as I know shows as a GBP transaction from BARE. As the money is convert from euros into GBP by your bank.
I didn't think they paid by paypal. Have you checked the bank details they hold at the bottom of you extended shopper?

They is a rolling banner on it saying it is our own responsability to ensure they have the correct bank details, as if payment has been sent to old bank details they are not responisble as they will consider it as they have paid you but you haven't kept your own details up to date.

I'd check my extended profile and then if your details are correct, contact the email address below them.

  • I had a bit of trouble with my first payment from BARE also. It turned out they didn't have my FULL bank details as they not only want the sort code and bank account number but other numbers as well - see on shopper profile where you fill in your bank details. I sent them an email and they explained it all to me. I was not aware that they paid via paypal. Anyway, I have received my December payment and I always get a letter from the bank to say that money has been transferred to my account from overseas.
  • Thanks for the information.

The only bank details BARE have for me is my Paypal account. They have never insisted I gave full bank account details and I am happier to be paid by Paypal anyway.

I got an e-mail from them today saying my payment would be sent to accounts and I should receive it later on next week so fingers crossed!

You need to sign up to each individual client and then they'll be visible on your page. There's not always a visit available for all clients; they'll be put on in batches at some point during the month. Booked visits are the one's you have agreed to do (hence it being empty at the moment for you!).

How do I get hold of them to ask them to put more clients on my list? Is there a telephone number for them somewhere? I tried the one at the bottom of their faq, but there was no answer. Or is it better to email them?

Ooh lucky me. Hubby having had broken ribs only got me little things for Xmas. But tonight he presented me with an Acer laptop.

He said he was fed up with me disappearing upstairs most nights doing reports and chatting on the forum etc.By the time I check my footie team forum then the Andy Murray one the night is gone.

Any techie people on here. My main pc is BT with a hub ( with wires and plug) How do I get my laptop to act as a wireless one.I have a BT disc so I shouldn't have a problem getting online ( says she hopefully).

It is I am so used to a desktop pc that I am clueless on this.

Oh and I got nabbed today by plod. I was taking a photo of a chemist I did for RE and they thought it suspicious. Think they thought I was casing the joint for a drug raid. Mind you this is the row of shops which a few years ago some plonkers tried to blow up the cashline machine with gelignite and ended up blowing the entire row of 6 shops up. The locals like me were most upset as it had a chippie that did deep fried Mars bars.

    Hello!

I'm a stay at home mom and my maternity is due to finish soon. I need to make £100 a week to avoid going back to work. Does anyone think this is possible with MS? I am also doing avon which brings about 50 a month currently.

I've signed up to about 8 agencies so far and heard back from 5, 3 of which i can start searching for jobs now.

I'm in the midlands and can't find any local jobs yet. Anyone else from midlands?

Any tips for getting started and actualy making a bit of cash would be great!
