I wasnt going to say anything but I will - Gapbuster was my top paying, top job load Company for over 2 years. Now they are my second since my handler left. They have their problems same as every other company and are strict, but thats the aim of the game.

GAP was up there as one of my top 5 although with there problems I still did a lot of jobs for them and I was willing to travel for them but now they are now in my bottom 5 as they canceled 25 of my jobs scheduled for October and banned me from 3 clients so I can't imagine I will have any more work from them.

You are right with the black and red petrol shops, you need to put in £10 of fuel but will only get paid £8.

    Great eh!

OMG - did they give you a reason why they did that? :(

Some were cancelled the day I was about to leave the house to do them without even an explanation. I had to email them to find out it was because I had done a lot for 3 certain clients in the last few months so they wanted to rotate shoppers.

    I had the same thing.

They cancelled several jobs and barred me from burgers, red corner shops, chicken shop and red and black petrol all on the same day.

Despite several attempts never did get a satisfactory explanation.

I would only use Gap as a filler, I would not go out of my way to do one of their jobs.

    Cheers Paul

Look, I know I'm bitter and twisted about the spanish restaurants/RE points thing, but I had to laugh when I logged on this evening to see that two in my area were back on again.:p . So the shoppers with the 'average of 12' didn't turn out to be any more reliable than I would have been;) - in fact although I may change the date sometimes I always make it to the restaurant visits- I love them...
Would love it if they called me...:o

The other posts are old are they not!!!

Ok who's your favourite, or best paid!!!!!??????????

This might be a broad, sweeping statement, but I would say you can't go far wrong if you sign up to all those on post no. 1, but as to top 5 and bottom 5 they will differ wildly for different people. Up until last month, I would have said Gap were my no. 1, because I like the search function on their site, where you can apply for any job, anywhere (as I travel quite a bit). I also like the fact that you have plenty of notice, so can schedule jobs in, unlike Abai, where you have to do it in 48 hours.

I like being able to buy stamps or euros that make the job worthwhile (despite the fee) and that way as MikeLB says it means your tax bill is less. If it's something I'm going to use, with Gap, then I always pay the full amount, if not more.

MikeLB, can I say welcome to the site and your posts are already a very useful source of info, even for some of us, who've been doing this a while - thank you!

As you say, Gap are strict, and the only times I've fallen foul of them, have been when I've forgotten to check or do something and it's been my error.

We do try and be as helpful as possible on here to all newcomers and advise where we can, but the point of the first page is to set peeps off in the right direction and you will really need to learn for yourself who's best for you and which jobs suit you best. As we've already seen some people won't touch Gap with a bargepole and for some they'd be in the top 5, similarly with RE.

So, sign up with all those on page one and as you do the jobs you'll find out which work best for you in terms of what you want out of it - "free" meals, petrol, bets, stamps, groceries, etc.

Does anyone know how to look at page 2 (etc) on Abai jobs? I've got petrol stations up, and it says 2 pages, but I can't click on the second page :(

It's always like that when these jobs first go on. It wouldn't load for me either. I just had to put in each county I would do them in, separately an this worked. I think it's just high traffic when the jobs are new.
