  • Just done a pub job for RE. The character limit is so high on some of the comments, I'm sure I sounded inane by the end of it. And describing the smell of somewhere (when it had no particular smell) in lots of words is very aggravating...

Oh god, I know. And the woman who runs that client will start bombarding you with several emails within minutes of eachother asking the same questions you have already answered in the stupid assignment, as if you weren't already clear enough, having had to not only tick Yes, No, or N/A but write a flipping essay on it in the first place. I grit my teeth and think of the free food and wine.

    Hello

Re the petrol jobs on GAP, does anybody know if the minimum purchase is £10 petrol, or is it £10 petrol AND £10 in the shop? Notes aren't clear, have sent a message but obviously it might take them a while to get back to me....

    Thanks very much

I agreed over the phone to do one of these - but when I checked online it appears I will be reimbursed LESS than I am expected to spend?! Is this correct? Does anyone else have this?

Regarding these TNS fast shops - is there a way to release one that I've taken in error?

I think the official way to do it, is to use the link that you are sent and on there, there is an option to decline the job. However, when you use this, it just comes up with a pre-printed email in Outlook with something like "I can't do the job on x day, I can only do it on y day now" or something similar.

You may not have got the link yet, in which case you're doing them a favour letting them know earlier by emailing your AM which is what you've done.

The yellow petrol jobs need you to spend £10 on fuel and a minimum of a £1 in the shop.

    You will be reimbursed £11.

I thought I'd posted, but doesn't look like it went on! I was jsut wondering when BARE pay, as I thought it was the 15th and checked the bank but nothing in, I'm expecting quite a lot too!!!
Oh, and on their job allocation thing, I jsut got allocated ones that had disappeared weeks ago, I don't understand them at all!

BARE pay after the 25th of the month. Can take a couple of days after that to reach your account.

Their allocation system is a mystery.

Yes, this is correct, many of their petrol jobs demand that you buy £10 worth of petrol, and sometimes another purchase in the shop as well, but only reimburse you £8.

And Gyp ring up offering these jobs, with all the associated work, as 'free petrol'

Can I suggest you do some research of your own

Look through the past threads and you'll find most of the answers.

IMHO "Top 5's" are very subjective and will vary from person to person due to their circumstances, location and motivation.

I think the better question is "Who are the Bottom 5"
