The couple of times that Gap haven't paid me, when it was my error, they have always notified me.

Have never had any problems with TNS querying anything, report or payment-wise.

I agree, I have worked for TNS for about 3 years now and not once have I ever had a query on a report. They didn't pay me for one visit but this was their error and it was rectified immediately.

How do you know if the MS company decide to drop you? Do they simply email you? Can you no longer access your account or do they simpley ensure no jobs appear in your search?

They last point is added as I've done a few jobs recently for one particular company and now every time I log on there's nothing at all. Guessing the paranoia is catching.

Oh and sorry for posting it as it's probably been mentioned to death but has anyone got top tips on either using a laptop/notebook or anything else that can connect to the net?

Only asking as I can only really check for jobs at night or if I'm off. Thinking if I can access it during the day at my normal job then I might start to pick up a few more jobs. getting a couple a week isn't really making it worth while.

With RE you can usually spend up to their limit once you have bought the required things.

I did my first assignemt for Gap today and tried to complete my form this afternoon.
It wouldn't accept one of my answers due to what I can only assume is a fault with the system- it told me I had not answered a question when I had quite clearly ticked the yes box (with no additional comments neccesary)
I emailed them to tell them this and have had no response.
I just checked the clock and realised I was about to miss the 8 hour deadline so thought I would just fill in the answer as "no" and add some additional comments to explain. It turned out that I had then been "logged out due to inactivity" so had woud need to go through the whole questionnaire again
When I tried to do this it would even accept my first response for the time and date of the assignment!

So now I've no choice but to completey miss the deadline, still have no respone and can't submit any kind of questionnaire.
I'm absolutely livid- I've eaten and paid for a meal which I would definately not have had otherwise and all for nothing as I doubt they will pay me now I have missed the deadline

Gap usually do sort things out if you email them- I know they are sticky about things but as you emailled them before the deadline it may well be ok. I looked back at my earnings earlier this year and realised I had done really well out of Gap's system of gradually raising the fees on things- hang in with them and give them a chance to respond- they will take a couple of days though- it may well be worth it in the long run.

Gapbuster sent me to a derelict site and as it was an expenses only visit, refused to pay. When they called asking for 'a favour', I said no problem, as soon as I have been paid expenses for my last visit, at which point my account was closed

Count yourself lucky. After my non payment (documented on the last topic page), and despite closing my account on the website, and receiving 6 phonecalls offering me more work to which I rsponded very frankly! - I am still getting phonecalls offering work. They all offer me a £2 bonus, but get very offended when I mention the unpaid job. How did you ever get them to close the account their end. I have tried everything!

I know this may be slightly off topic, but has anyone done the surveys for Focus4people? I'm finally down in London for one, and have applied but haven't heard anything back. How long do they normally take to reply?
    Cheers.

Gap have done that to me a few times and they're not helpful about it.
