    Afternoon all!

Am I allowed to join a Flylady thread, being a man and all?

Course you can :D. We don't have to rename it the Flyperson thread though do we? :rotfl:

I just had a thought.. I don't have many.. would it be 'nice' to include in the first post a list of new flyers each week??

So they get some kind of recognition and an official welcome.. the OS chat debate made me think there might be some who see us as a 'clique' and I hate to think of us like that.. I want everyone to come in and share our success and know the pleasure we know..

Oh goodness.. I am turning fluffy like a mule!!
that'd be nice - and you could list 'em by peg choice...

Hi Natty:hello: Soo about the peggies? Do you match pegs with clothing colour then? Or just group colours of pegs together? I'm really sorry to say that I do neither, clearly not a natural born peggie :o
you will be assimilated...talking about it - that's a start

Hi toochoosey and LilySue, it's nice to meet some fellow newbies! :hello:

Re Peggies, Natty 68, I'm really sorry I have wooden pegs, BUT I have so many matchpots left from our recently painted hallway that I reckon I could paint my pegs enough colours to match every outfit I own! :D

    -see planning ahead - I like it:D

I'm a little bit Peggie (only a little bit mind :rotfl:). I don't necessarily match my pegs by colour (unless they are the pink ones ), but I do like to match them by design - I've got half a dozen different types of peg, so if an item has two pegs on they have to be the same style. Do I qualify, or am I in some type of sub-cult :rotfl::rotfl:
all I said was...way back in the summer...all my pegs match and I don't like using unmatched pegs and I iron dusters..and tea towels...when I was a newbie and I didn't know ANY better...well now I know I am not alone...
    hosed.giforchug.gifanyone?

BTW I have tried to thank you all but the thanks button is slow...so apologies...

I have done my ironing LEFT OVER FROM SUNDAY...the shame:o and I have lots and lots to do tomorrow.
So I will mooch over to post one and sort a list...
I have IEPs to write...none for dyslexia...MOAM don't know where you are but that age for getting an assessment is usually 7. There are indicators...
I would google it because there is an association which is very supportive...and off the top of my head I cannot think of the name...
    see you shortly...

    Evening all :hello:

My flying for today.... I've changed the sheets & pillow cases on my bed (I'm planning on having a bath...well thats the theory and I like to have clean sheets at least ;) ), cooked tea (slow cooker turkey steaks in gravy cooked while I was at placement, instant packet mash and baked beans from the fridge which were left over from the other night  ), a load of dark washing so I can have a clean tracksuit top for tomorrow (now in the TD as I realised I won't get it dry otherwise!), and now I'm scanning pictures in to my computer for the kids in school

The school doesn't appear to have a scanner any more ( ) so the teacher was going to have to photograph the photos the kids had brought in so they could have copies for their autobiographies that they're writing. So I opened my mouth and offered to scan them in, expecting maybe 10 or 11 in total, try triple that and that's just from one class  The teacher said no rush, but since they break up for half term on Friday I'd rather get them done and back in tomorrow as I was hoping to have Friday off to run some errands and study. Beside the longer the photos sit here the more chance of them getting put "in a safe place" and we all know what happens then :rotfl::rotfl: So I just need to clear some pictures off my pen drive (and I should really move my CV off it as well  ) so I can fit them all on.

Oooo time for hereos ... catch you later

Flyperson - there's a certain ring to that...

No more cleaning for me. Must learn not to open a bottle of wine for just the one glass (no willpower)

I also did the main bedroom after I got home so am feeling a bit smug, because I don't often manage to do any flying after work!

I'm way back on page 7 reading the thread, so will obviously have to quit flying for the day to catch up.:D

ps. tried to do one of the smilies from the site mentioned way back on page 6 or 7, and failed again!! Why can't I get them to work??
