Oh the glee.. my friend rang me earlier.. bear in mind I don't have many! She asked me how bad severe/CIN 3 cells are on a smear.. .. said she has an appointment for a colposcopy and a biopsy...
It never just rains over here.. She is about where my sister was 6 months ago now.
Oh and to make things worse the docs have known she has the HPV virus for the last 4 years and not told her she needs annual smears... until today!
SO, the other week when I told you all to go get your smears up to date NOW will you do it? I can't cope with all this a third time this year....
AND.. I HATE this piece of advice..
The original cervical cancer screening programmes across the UK screened women from 20 to 64. The screening programme in England now starts at 25 because cervical cancer is very rare before this age.
The first of my sisters to require treatment was 19....... my mother was 22ishLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
