I am going to a greatgrandma again this will be the third.

I am both pleased and annoyed. Annoyed for lots of reasons. One being that GS should not be having anymore children. For reasons I cant go into. Dont get me wrong he loves his two DDs and does his best. But its done and the baby will be loved very much.

Valli Yes its a voluntary job.

Off to bed soon as Im back at work tomorrow.

Well done on the voluntary job - doing something on a regular basis and being relied upon - you are the type of person that is the bedrock of the voluntary sector...there are clearly nice bits to the job like baby holding though! Congratulations on the 'pleased' bit...always difficult to know what to say when news like this isn't quite wanted IYSWIM

Like I said - be afraid be very afraid :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was going to say that maybe you're the exception that proves the rule fear.gif but then I thought about you, Toots & Supergirl and realised... you all have SO much in common scared.gifscared.gifscared.gifscared.gif

Thanks for the recipe Pigpen. No time to make it tonight, but I will test it soon :p

Hugs to all who need them... I've skimmed through at various times today, but not really remembered what needed saying to whom, and I've done no flying at all! However, my kitchen tiles are now sealed and ready for grouting, the new platform for the water tank is under construction, the boiler has had all its safety bits added, and I swear the place has been left cleaner than when he started :rotfl:

bet Toots is panicking now she realises she and I have something in common... bet she's checking her planetary aspects to see if pegs are in the stars...:rotfl:
Up until now she thought she was safe and sane!

BTW Greenbee how do you envisage this cleaning product spreadsheet then - columns for rooms/job and rows for products with a how to in the appropriate cell if the product is relevant for the room/job?

    I could do it...

I've had a go but it won't copy and paste.

Boddy - congrats on being a potential ggrandma again - even if the circumstances aren't exactly right.

I am wondering why I do 'community' stuff. The phone has been off the hook again this evening and I've been advising and suggesting. Ahhh me....

But, good thing (I think!) is shower will probably be fixed soon. Phoned DiL's parents this evening but got through to the answerphone. Didn't leave a message. Mentioned it to DS and then the chinese whispers syndrome starts. DiL's Mum phoned and left a message whilst I was on the phone doing 'community' stuff - "DS tells me you phoned about the shower and left a message on the answerphone. I haven't got it perhaps you could call me"

So I call back and say actually I didn't leave a message but hey, how's DiL's father fixed to looking at the shower? Seems he's more than happy to - and pay for it and not take any money. I feel I'm going to have to be really assertive here and say yes, please, come and look and QUOTE - I don't want, nor need a freebie! But I fear it may fall on deaf ears. Anyways, he's coming tomorrow at 6pm to inspect. I have to think now of ways of making sure he's not out of pocket.

But enough - I'm off to bed.

Hey Loopy-loo that's what we're here for - you let off steam at us - we can take it - lots of ducks backs here so it washes off IYSWIM and you are happier and he doesn't get the brunt of it...smiles all round.
This thread is also good for those of us who don't have a DF OH or whatever because then we don't blow up at whoever is around or bottle it up if we're all alone - we all need to vent sometime - and you have been heard - I have every sympathy because it must be so hard working when there are littlies involved... (((hugs)))

BTW I am missing Polka - not heard from since her anniversary - is that right?

You'll like this... it isn't directly christmas related though does have a vague reference

Pigpen - you've got nearly as many kids? How come you can't work the system like this ;)

Tooch - congrats on the weightloss :j :j

Rach - I'm careful even with my private appointments, I'm never sure who can see what, and I'm pretty sure my team (mostly boys  ) who have full rights to my calendar can see all the private stuff in great detail :o .

Emily - best of luck to you and DH for tomorrow

    Holly - smileyhug.gif

Lil_me - thanks for the link. Good to see so many of us have signed the petition! Where do you get all this information from? You seem to know everything :D

Boddy - I hope it all works out well. Congratulations on the good stuff, and I hope you can enjoy the new baby.

Valli - I'll PM you about Pigpen's spreadsheet... I have a feeling we need to do all sorts of exciting things with pivot tables! If we can work out what we want to do, I'll see whether I can bribe one of the boys with Pigpen's chocolate cake/jelly (yes, strange). Then we just need to find somewhere to keep the spreadsheet where we can all access it. Can we post attachments on the yahoo group?

Polka - hope you're recovering OK smileyhug.giftake it easy

    Apologies if I've forgotten anyone.
