    Evening everyone.

Had a nice visit with mum she was really happy. She was trying to tell me she had been somewhere but I coudnt understand. Turns out she had been to a tea dance and really enjoyed it. She always enjoyed music and going out dancing and I told the staff so they will take her again.

Meeting and greeting was busy but lots of chat and laughs.

Have washed bedding tonight and now have my uniform in.
    Hugs for everyone.
Glad Mum enjoyed her dance - that was nice of the staff to take her. I thought you were giving up your meeting and greeting????
Jake sounds as if he has another soft spot somewhere - the two-timer!!!!

yey go me, ironing all done and another flylady tip - keep a needle tucked (safely) in your ironing board cover, if you see a loose thread whilst ironing don't put the garment in the mending pile cast it off now, iron and put away - oh my I sound like one of those 1950's magazine articles!

Tessellating pattern (correct spelling now I have looked it up!) complete. We decided to print it on a T shirt as teacher had said wear a t shirt with a tessellating pattern on so we made one :D Miss A thinks it is 'so cool and magnificent' so reckon that's me in the cool mum corner tonight :)

Will be going to see her model it at class assembly in the morning.

Valli I am about to 'sample' some of the alcohol I bought today, care to join me??? Anyone else as well?

No Im not giving up the meeting and greeting I really enjoy it. Ive wanted to do it for long time. Thought it may not happen till I retired but the opportunity came up.

Yes I think Jake perhaps does have another family somewhere. Though its not a regular thing him being away. He is snoring on the sofa at the moment.

What/who/where do you meet and greet? I can't remember if I have asked this before - if I have it'll be a senior moment.

Just spent £1.45 on a bag of BARGAINS at Mr. S! 4 x prepped fruit at 15p each - mango and melon, organic carrots 15p 2 packs of fancy pitta breads (olive and onion) at 20p each 2 hot x buns 10p (buns and pittas have all gone in the freezer) and 2 apple turnovers 20p (kids supper) so kids have had a turnover each and a fruit box and I'll have the other 2 tomorrow:D

The fruits were £1.45 each originally as were the carrots!

Boddy - I'm glad your Mum enjoyed the tea dance even though she had trouble remembering what it was she enjoyed!

I am now going to bed. There's nowt to tempt me on TV. The rubbish is out (bin day tomorrow) magnificent stir fry has been cooked and eaten (amazing what you can do with a handful of rice, a bit of garlic, some beansprouts, a couple of spring oinions, a couple of mushrooms, a red pepper, some cashew nuts and a 30p packet of chow mein sauce!
