Tessellating pattern (correct spelling now I have looked it up!) complete. We decided to print it on a T shirt as teacher had said wear a t shirt with a tessellating pattern on so we made one :D Miss A thinks it is 'so cool and magnificent' so reckon that's me in the cool mum corner tonight :)

Will be going to see her model it at class assembly in the morning.

Valli I am about to 'sample' some of the alcohol I bought today, care to join me??? Anyone else as well?

Cheershosed.gifand well done on your spelling and tessellating. A bit 'short' notice there hun...they should have given you shopping time IMHO...

Triker - well done on your remoska purchase...I've looked at the Lakeland site and given the parlous state of my oven it would probably be a good idea...mind you I am still pondering the wisdom of putting a slow cooker on my chrissy pressie list - ie stuff wot I want.

OMG DS has just told me his friend's big brother has had a nasty accident at work - facial injuries...he forgot to tell me:eek:

In our day yes but now they sell the fresh produce to us and send the cash to Africa - tinned stuff used to go to the save the children fayre but I know that was this weekend past.

    Joke:

I was at an ATM money machine when an old lady came up and asked me to check her balance. So I pushed her over.

Hi everyone. Fairly productive day - since my last post i've picked DD up from dancing, washed the car, made dinner, prepped loads of veggies for the freezer, cleaned the kitchen, had a shower and painted my toe nails.

    List for tomorrow:
    Change the beds
Check oil and tyre pressure on car
More website work - must finish it before Wednesday
Swimming for the kids after school - 3 hours at the leisure centre in the sweltering heat - what fun.
I'm just cracking open a bottle of wine if anyone wants a glass and then do a bit of surfing.
    See you all tomorrow.

No thanks, think I'll pass that offer up.:rotfl:

High drama on sat night, eldest DD went to the fair, 2 hours later a complete stranger (man) rang my OH to ask if we could come and get her as he and his wife had found her wandering around disorientated and crying and being sick!!!!

It think Pigpen mentioned leading by example...fallenhalo.gif maybe she thought she'd see if she could recreate chug.gif the way you felt on Saturday disoriented.gif . Seriously, I'm glad she's OK, and once she's got over the strop (embarrassment probably), hopefully she'll decide it wasn't much fun.

When our pipes got manky like that I used... *drumroll* ... a scrubby sponge and washing up liquid.. dried it thoroughly then glossed it.

Your spreadsheet is going to need to be indexed and cross-referenced with techniques as well as products, and the situations they apply to. I really don't think you've got time for college :D

I have a confession too though, re the washing video on UTube - errr I hang my washing up exactly, and I mean exactly.., like the women was demonstrating..now that is sad!!!

Sounds like you should be queen of the Peg Posse.hangclothes.gifTAG & Valli... you have a new leader woman.gif

am ashamed to say my dusters are in the same drawer as the tea towels, are the microfibre cloths (apart from bathroom ones), do you think i should build an extension so i could add extra drawers?

Probably... Maybe I should get Valli to advise on the design for my utility room since she is so organised with her cleaning stuff

There is actually an outside chance that I'll get most of the kitchen sorted today - the tiles are now up, and they're being grouted tomorrow :j :j , so it'll finally be finished (well, apart from needing repainting this winter, the dresser needing stripping and repainting, and the kitchen table needing to be MADE!!!) just under 18 months from when it was started :o It's the decisions that cause the problems... it took me over a year to find cupboard handles I liked

I'm not away tomorrow, so might also manage to keep on top of tomorrow's list. Wednesday & Thursday will be a write-off buried.gif, but hopefully I'll catch up on Friday. Like Froddington, I don't want to be spending all weekend cleaning.

Apologies to anyone I've missed, it's not intentional, but you've had 13 pages of fun today while I've been slaving over my blackberry all day (I didn't actually get to spend any quality time with my laptop, it stayed on my desk and had a rest while I went to meetings  ).

I expect I'll post again before bed... fingers crossed I get something done (there's the ironing as well)
