Froddy - I'd join you, but I've just got back from the supermarket and unpacked the shopping... I need a break before I attempt anything else.
Somehow I went in for eggs, baking marg, tomatoes & yogurt and came out with 5 bags of stuff... I must try to restrict myself to the farm shop and village shop for a bit0 -
nicki hope your DD is feeling better soon x
g&b fingers crossed your voice returns soon x
Crafty I had a similar experience today well done!
I don't even know how I did it, but I went into Wilkinsons and spent NOTHING! Everything I picked up I put back, it was VERY strange walking through the checkout with nothing and DP still doesn't believe me.....Anyway, Asda shop done, picked up a few bargains (their flog offs are better than ours, not great but better, 1/3 of the price rather than 1/3 off) which I still need to put away.....Got the washer on now, going to do another load when that's finished.
Just watching Strictly Come Dancing, one 'reality' show I can cope with as I miss my dancing days from when I was much younger. Really impressed with Jodie's performance, knew she could do it! Looking forward to John's aswell, what a trooper he is!
We're off to FlamingoLand tomorrow, looking forward to it like a hole in the head as DSs have been awful today, DS1 especially, they've been terrible! I couldn't wait to get home which might seem awful but he was punching, kicking, biting etc. DPs away so was going to be going alone but managed to get a support worker who volunteers at their swimming to come with me so I have to collect her at 8am (she's not a morning person so a few calls first) then it's off to the coach...fingers crossed for ok weather
I've got a list of stuff to get through tonight before I go to bed
Shopping away
Pack drinks and snacks for me and kids (poss some for support worker who's coming with me)
Make DPs food and get his clothes out for him (he's leaving 4.30am and I don't want him waking us!)
Vacuum downstairs
Clean up kitchen
Empty dishwasher
Move stuff so DPs brother doesn't fall over when he comes over to see to the dogsOne day I might be more organised...........

Hi Toots, I am hijacking your post as I keep forgetting to say stuff, and you have said loads I want to say...toottifrootti wrote: »Morning everybody!!!
justamum - hope you're not too sore - big hug and arnica for the bruises!!! - this is great for bruises - I used to take tablet form...
lil_me - thats good news about the old lady - glad you know now and can stop worrying.
gryfon ditto what the others have said - smaller jobs and you will achieve more - whay dont you post like greenbee does - every thing you do and then you will see that you have actually been flying - big hug - dont let it get to you - you have been doing reallyt well - ditto what everyone else has said - you've posted loads of stuff you've achieved on here, don't think you haven't... you've done great...:T
AnW's mum well done with the HT and like lil_me said I would STILL write a letter of complaint to the board. You can put all the things you didnt get the chance to say in it. - letters are great for those things you forget in a conversation, I say still put it in writing to make them think twice about their next stupid decision if nothing else...
triker - huge hug for you honey -I hope this crappy week is behind you - you should have said and we would have listened and tried to help - you are always there for us - and you are always so cheerful/cheeky/funny/mad/crazy/supportive/positive that is has covered up how you were really feeling?? have a lovely wekend and chill if you can. Hugs Triker - you don't always have to tell us whats going on, have your privacy, but know we are all here for you to give out the 'virtual hugs' when you need them, just tell us you're having a bad time. You're always here for us...
supergirl - I am not sure about the 'every 21 days' but I know you have to do something everyday for 21 days for it to become a habit - was that what you meant??? good luck with the DD's!!!! I thought it was 30 days repetition to make something become a habit and start from day 1 if you forget even once - can't remember where I read that though. And if reminding someone for 21 days makes them do something, mine must be very skilled in all forms of housework and tidying up after themselves as I have nagged them all EVERY day for years... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Thanks again Toots,
