  • Ah ha...

This is what I shall do. Blitz the bedroom and, if I'm feeling very enthusiastic this weekend, I shall gloss the woodwork in the living room. Watch this space...

Thanks for the tip off pigpen - there's an Asda by work so will nip in tomorrow evening.

Think I might turn in now. Sleep well everyone xx

Cardiff you have me to thank for adding you to the list. Well done on your flying and I'd not clean up after your flat mate unless you want to make it a habit? Stardrops are yellow in a clear bottle and cost about 70p - I'm not a huge fan of them myself.

Do not empty the fridge into your tummy!!! or you'll be STS next week too!!

STS?????? Explain please I no understand.

Please can the next time I think it's a good idea to buy loads of 'reduced priced' food, please kick me hard.

I've just binned rotting plaice, walking out the door on their own smoked scallops, explosive yoghurts, unidentifiable cheese that I know wasn't green when I bought it, cucumber splodge, a jar of 'frozen in time' olives, sausages that were barking and disease ridden pots of 'stuff'.:o

Cleaned it and binned all useless crapola.

Wiped down the cupboards and surfaces, swept floor. Rearranged stuff on worktops and even put some of it away.:D

Aaaah just everything else to do now.

  • Hi all,

Oooh, another list - do you think we're all addicted??? :D

Thank you to whoever added me - I've only had chance to read the last page so hugs to those who need them, some get well wishes to anyone with a cold (mine sort of started today then went again,.. very strange) and congrats to those who deserve them...

Exciting time for me this evening, I was sitting on the M25 minding my own business as I travelled home (traffic, 6.30pm, not moving - usual senario) when a lovely 2 seater SK500 Mercedes decided to smash into the back of my poor little vectra... I banged my head on the headrest quite hard, but felt OK.

Had to drive home for another hour after the accident during which time my sholder was really aching and beginning to hurt, so was then promptly dragged off to hospital by my mum under orders of hubby, DD & DS - talk about bossy. when I got there, the doc felt the bones down my spine by pushing on them, and because it really hurt, I was then kept very still and they made me lay down with a neck brace and things next to my head - that hurt more than my neck! anyway, long and short of it is I have apparently got pulled and bruised muscles in my neck and sholders now (better known as whiplash I think).

This is a pain in the neck (sorry about the pun!) because I have to drive back up to St Albans tomorrow and am then supposed to pack up one house and take it over to another - I hope I wake up OK, I need to earn money at the moment something drastic...

Anyway, moan over - sorry, no flying today (unless you count backwards in my seat :D ) and the house looks OK, specially as dogs had been in the garden digging holes while I was at work and bringing all the mud in, so hubby had to vacuum and wash the hall and kitchen floors - smelt lovely when I got in and a nice suprise..

Am going to get some sleep now, as didn't get back until 10pm, then had my dinner coz I was absolutly starving...

    Take care all...

    Night toots xx

Just read all your replies, thanks so much for the input from you all. Am going to print your reply lil_me and take it with me to work :) And no I don't think (and am sure no one else does) that you are an awkward cow. I knew that I could post this problem on here and get some constructive help, you are all stars xxx

I was wondering about the list of names seeing as I am behind on the thread as usual at this point in the week. Wondered how I managed to be at the top of these lists, obviously it's not for my flying skills :rotfl: good choice of user name as being first alphabetically I am TOP TOP TOP!!!!!! Little things make me very happy! :o

I shall report back tomorrow evening on the school situation ;)

Tesco don't sell stardrops.. asda do though.

Do the Thursday jobs you skipped.. it'll make next week easier!

Our tesco do stardrops - think it varies depending on the store... worth checking out, it is usually on the bottom shelf and coz it's only small, very hard to notice.
