  • ok, i've read back a few pages ...

AnWsmum - it's disgraceful, speaking from both a mums point of view and someone who works in a school. speak to the head, if you get no joy then take it further like others have suggested, governors, local council, i'd take some other mums in with you when you speak to the head & keep kicking up a fuss til they are made to put the loo roll back!

pigpen I am sure you are nice sometimes..look at the effort you put in with this thread for example..I'm never nice with a bee in my bonnet but of course I know that sometimes I have to be nice, if you don't compliment when things are right they don't know what to do more of, so I usually make sure I compliment when appropriate, you get listened to more I find when using the 'well that's great but....' approach.

I just am a control freak so I LURVE this thread :D

I demand very high standards.. and I question EVERYTHING I drive people insane.. eg.. today at college we were given a chemical formula to draw.. I had to know what it was the formula for.. I knew it was a lipid (fat to you who wonder) because that is what we were studying.. but I had to know what it was (Arachnic Acid... ooh.. spider fat!!)

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well. Welcome to any newbies.

Hubby is fine, he's starting dialysis tomorrow :j

Feel really tired today  so have not tidied up or cleaned microwave, but DID buy a lemon to use for microwave cleaning tomorrow. Did do voluntary work, shopping and laundry.

    Good night

    hugs for mini tooch

    WOOTWOOT's for GnB's algebra results..

AnW's... I'd be removing limbs.. I'd CC the letter to the chair of the governors as well.. it has to be examined more closely by the school then... highly inappropriate.

Not sure what the answer is, but I would feel the same way.
The other problem is I would then feel even more uncomfortable about asking for help again.

You have me down to a tee CraftyS - but, hey ho, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it..
