Thanks for asking Shelly - doing pretty well. Overdoing things, but thats par for the course!!! Having major problems with leg swelling though, so having to see various people for that. Cycle etc seems to have settled down, and Im marking time til September when I can try again. Raring to go, really!!

Glad you have supportive people round you. It certainly helps.

Welcome back FE,it sounds as if you're ready and raring to go..........................

Toniq, hope yesterday went well, fingers crossed for a good fertilisation rate.

As for me,well its probably the end of the road for us.

Only one of our embies had continued to develop, but it was only at Morula stage - so it was lagging behind and should have obviously reached blastocyst by day 5.Anyhow they transferred it,but I'm not holding out much hope.

Glad you are doing ok. What causes the leg swelling? Was it to do with the op or a pre existing problem you had?

Didn't want to read and run, but like Shelly don't really know what to say, other than I'm sorry, and am thinking of you. Big hugs, and take care of yourself.

Nottslass, i really hope it does some magic in there, u never know xxx

I had a lot of fluid on left ovary so had alot of pain after EC, i could barley walk so have been in bed since yesteraday, i didnt ohss but clinic got slightly worried, just taking it easy, Lab called we had 21 collected and we have 18 embabies?!?! only had 8 out of 20 last time so am kinda shocked, though i know anything can go wrong so am not daring to get excited, they have provisionally booked me in for thursday but will ring on thursday morning and hopefully if more than 2 embabies r doing well will re schedule for saturday, im desperate for a 5 day transfer and really hope this is it for us xx
Im also expecting out of all those embabies we have a fair few to freeze for future xx
really hope everyone is ok xxx
p.s why was i the only woman throwing up like mad after ec ? the others were all drinking tea and eating biccies and poor me is hurling?!? xxxxx

Not all embys develop the same nottslass, I know it doesnt sound as good, but hang in there! You never know, and big,big hugs to you and your OH.

Toniq, results were good, lets hope you get some good ones, and some to freeze for later!

Shelly, the swelling is lymphodaema, caused by taking away my pelvic lymph nodes. I go to see them Friday to see if they can shed any light on what is likely to happen - if I spend much time on my feet or walking around they start to swell, and really ache and feel heavy which is cramping my style a bit at the moment. I wore support stockings for this anyway, but have been upgraded to support tights - itll be a full body stocking next!!

We want to know if its cos I have been overdoing it (who me!?!) or whether I will have to live with it and work round it.

Nottslass PLEASE keep positive - I know it is very hard to do when you feel you have had a setback, but it must be still possible or they wouln't have done the transfer, surely? Keeping you in my thoughts Hun (((BIG Gentle HUGS))).

Toniq, you poor thing. So far I have always been one of the lucky ones after EC, drinking tea & eating sandwiches as soon as they will let me!

Thanks becs, I'm trying hold on to the calm feeling - amazingly DH seems more stressed than me at the moment, which is very unusual!

Hi Lilo! Still thinking of you often too, and glad to hear that you are really 'on the mend' and raring to go again!

1st lot of 'stabbing' starts tonight - is it weird to be looking forward to it???although I've been taking tablets for the last couple of days, it seems that tonight this cycle will really be starting properly!

Ah right I know exactly what you mean, I was warned to look out for the same but luckily I have been ok so far.

Hope its not a permanent thing for you.
