    Morning folks...

I was supposed to go to an induction day for a new job today but got let down by childcare right at the last minute... To be honest it was a bit of a relief, yesterday was my worst sickie day so far... Although today seems to be heading along the same lines... Waves of nausea and dry heaving are not a good sight at the school gates!

It's my birthday tomorrow and I'll be getting booked in with the midwife at 9:45 too... People keep threatening to visit though and my house is in a disgusting state, I haven't been able to leave the sofa for 4 weeks now, although I've managed a bit of ironing sitting down with OH hanging and putting away for me... Oh and to top it off one of my rats died last night... It was on the cards because I've had them 3 years... But OH wouldn't remove her from the cage so had to do it myself... :(
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sorry about your little furry. I lost my 2.5 year old hamster earlier in the year, and it does hurt a lot, even if they've had a full life. I'm not good at letting go, and the Hamster is still in the freezer. I'm going to get him cremated when I'm feeling up do it.

Hope you feel a little better today and that the sickness doesn't get too bad.

OMG, my friend has just offered me a cot, mobile, and a rediculous amount of baby boy's clothes for the sum of........nothing!
    How lovely is that!
The cot is hardly used as her little boy sleeps in her bed with her.
My neighbour bought round a few items of new clothing last night aswell.

I sympathise Krystaltips! Honestly I do! Speak to your GP and see if they will consider giving you something for the nausea - I'm on cyclizine to control it as it's so bad but since saturday it's been getting worse again - will have to think about upping the doze to 3 x 50 mg again although I suspect it won't actually help much :'(
And i'm supposed to return to work on Friday too which at the moment I'm just not sure how I'll manage to be honest... Just had to drive the cat to the vets and I nearly threw up twice in a 5 minute drive - how I am going to cope with 45minutes + I just don't know!!!

  • Sorry to hear that SB, Hope all is well once you are there. Good luck and hugs.

AM thats ace! How lucky are you? DS had the cutest baby things but ended up lending it to people and never got any of it back! So need to start fresh with this baby.

I have my booking in appointment this afternoon (finally Im only 12 + 5 according to my own dates) and I feel very nervous I think its because the midwife was a little short on the phone...:o Oh well maybe she was having a bad day!
Hope everyone has a good day x

MFD - I'm waiting to hear if baby is ok and what colour s/he is going to be wearing

AM - I am very jealous, on another baby forum I go on, people keep harping on about not forgetting that other people will be throwing stuff at you now you are pregnant. Sadly in my case this has never, ever been the case. Me and dh have always had to buy everything for ourselves and this time seems no different.

We once went 6mths with no fridge as we couldn't even afford £50 to buy a second hand one, no-one batted an eye, and it's not like our parents are particularly poor.
