My first baby was 5 days late, second was pulled kicking and screaming out of me at 13 days overdue and the third was five weeks early. I honestly don't think previous experiences are a deciding factor! At least I hope not, I don't fancy another visit to SCBU!

Candy - Happy birthday! I don't drink at all. I was very tempted last night by my hubby's pear cider but I stuck to my orange juice in the hope that it might help my #2 problem

my 1st was 10 days late, 2nd week early, 3rd 10 days late and 4th on my due date so fingers crossed this one arrives early!!

Alcohol!! right at this moment i would love to sit here and get absolutly P*$$ed, fell out with OH again and feel like im about to explode?? my back has been aching for days and between the house being a tip, kids playing up and hardly seeing OH i have now officially had enough. anyway enough moaning here lol hope your al keeping well and the labour vibes are on there way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I did drink alcohol before I realised I was pregnant but nothing I can do about that now so hohum... Thankfully it was pretty early in pregnancy that I found out so that's something at least
since then I think I've had one glass of champagne to celebrate and half a glass of wine (well a whole glass but honestly couldn't face drinking it!). At the moment drinking wine is the furthest thing on my mind but I know at Christmas I'll have a glass or two of champagne And I won't feel guilfy for it either I'm afraid I don't do any other things that might harm the baby so a couple of glasses of champers in 9 months surely isn't the end of the world
Anyway - today again I feel crap! I am seriously thinking of going back up to 3 cyclizine a day... Problem is after taking one I last about 30 mins then I just tumble over and need a 2-3 hour nap!

Everyone seems convinced it's a girl because of how sick I have been... will be interesting to see if they're right One friend who so far has always been right about what the babies are gonna be thinks it's a boy so this could get interesting!!!
Now if only I could stop feeling so yucky!!!

I totally went off booze the moment that I found out I was pregnant. We went on holiday a few months into my pregnancy and I would pour myself a glass of red wine every evening over dinner and then just sit and look at it!! I used to drink a glass or 2 most evenings but now I can't even bear the smell.

I have had the odd drink here and there (I thought current guidance was 1 or 2 units is fine after 12 weeks ). Mell - my wine tastebuds have disappeared too...although I actually enjoyed half a glass of rose the other week :eek: (not normally to my taste at all - I bought it for MIL :rotfl: )

I do hope my post didn't sound bad, about drinking. I just meant that I'm glad I don't have to feel guilty. I used to have a bit of a drink problem, and I'm just glad that is a long time in the past, and I haven't had to worry about over-indulging while pregnant. Hope that makes sense!

I have to say, alcohol is not the thing I'm missing the most - I'm mostly missing peanuts!

I've allowed myself a little bit of champagne at weddings etc, but its so long since I've drunk anything (I pretty much stopped from Christmas as we were TTC) that it goes straight to my head - 1/2 glass is quite enough!

Peanuts now... as soon as I've stopped breastfeeding I shall make myself peanut butter on toast. And call out for vegetarian pad-thai. And Vegetables with satay sauce... mmmmmm....
