ok update.
The restuarant, that we use regular occasions (thought this would hold us in good stead!!) Has said we can have something else off the menu, nothing off the main menu as they only do one veggie option & that is also the special, so as I know there is an alternative on the starter I asked if she could have that instead which is a cranberry & basil tart, I was told that was no problem yippe I think..... then it came, you do realise that its in a walnut pastry don't you? & I thought pregnant women couldn't eat nuts??? he said?? How helpful I think. Now we booked this back in october, so yes I understand that its a busy time of year & they will only do a certain menu, but they have had the £15 per person deposit since oct & we go in on numerous times thoughout the year.(it is quite expensive for a little back street pub) but we have always had fab food & good service & I have reccomended numerous people. I have never asked about special meals before & just feel that he's not helping.
Thats it moan over.
Thanks for listening.0 -

Afternoon folks... Just a flying visit, I'm off back to bed in a min... I feel absolutely awful... Spent all night throwing up, managed to give DH his birthday presents and cake before the smell sent me lurching off to the bathroom... Didn't eat anything until about half an hour ago and now 3 plain rich tea biscuits have given me indigestion... Poor DD is at home because I daren't walk her to school in case I was ill on the way there or back... And I'm supposed to be doing my first proper day at work tomorrow but they have a 24hr clear of D&V rule so I've had to ring in sick already... Might be back later...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just a wee trim:p
Apart from a few aches I think the biggest worry was the loss of dignity caused by sitting on my asre in the middle of the street - thank goodness its a quiet development:rolleyes:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

well on the brightside they won't let you go more than 2 wks over here and I think its the same in most areas, which means that you should meet your little one by christmas eve - in time for a glass of bubbly on christmas day
I'm thinking of you xxxxx Oh and yes i think your mad for still being in work :rotfl:r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
triggles! chris knows how to use them but choses not to :rotfl:
one of the things I'm worried about is that I've never changed a girls nappy, I know its silly but I know what I'm doing with a boy coz got lots of practice! and how do you manage to put tights on a baby? thats beyond me!
I'm dreading the opposite!. Anyone seen those tee-pee tents to put on them whilst changing?! :rotfl:. Not sure why I'm laughing as I do intend to buy some! And SIL's boy never EVER stops fiddling with his bits at nappy change time!. I won't be having that thank you very much! :rotfl::rotfl:.
PS: is it true that boy's bits are hugely engorged after birth?
