My hubby has been to scans with me but not any mw appts yet its not that i mind him being there but he doesn't really say anything anyway :heart2: Proud mummy to Ryan born 14.2.09 :heart2:0

am I the only one who doesn't bother telling hubby about Mw apps? and also takes a little crappy bit of envelope with questions written on?
eta: I must be coz you've all run off n left me
DH insists on coming along to support me as I'm doing all the 'donkey work'! I must admit I do like him there and he remembers all the facts and figures that I forget as soon as I walk out the door  and we can discuss it all afterwards.

Hubby goes with me to any scans, and any midwife appointments that he's not working, just because he likes to.if its any comfort they usually wee on themselves more than anywhere else!
Tell that to our midwife - when she did home visits, DS managed to wee on her each and every time! That's why she always did our visit as the last one of the day! :rotfl:
And yay - I'm feeling more nauseoeisoui - oh poo - I feel gross! yay! :rotfl:MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

my tip for this one is take your time, i suffered with bleeding becuase of it. also if you are so use vaseline. works wonders in a short space of time. doc prescribed me something but ONLY to use if vaseline didn't work (due to being pregnant but it was one of the only things he could find which would be safeish. i filled the prescription but never used it because vaseline was fine.0 -
MFD: trust me it doesn't matter which way round bubba is if you've got 12 wks left! and you may be amazed by what you think is a foot often turns out to be the bum!
I'll say - DD was an undiagnosed breech. She was 7 days late - I had a sweep by my m/w who said 'yes - I can feel the head - you should go into labour today/ tomorrow' When I went into labour that night and arrived at hosp they examined me and found me 5cm dilated - with a bottom coming down!
A student m/w working with my comm m/w had suggested baby was breech a couple of weeks earlier - and was told no way by my m/w. Huh! She was a frank breech too (folded in half with toes by her ears) so was stuck in that position! (had c/section the next day)
Needless to say my m/w was a tad embarassed when she saw me at home afterwards (and I've got her agin this time - 11 years later)

Lactulose! :j
I had the worst constipation ever after having Poppy - my body just wouldn't let me do it - and it was absolutely horrid time. MW recommended lactulose from the chemist and although it tastes awful, it really did do the trick.
