Tine - I am swedish but very familiar with Denmark due to growing up litteraly on the other side of the bridge (since it was built any way , I'm not that young;) ). I can see across to Denmark most days from my parents house in Malmo. My brother lives and works in Copenhagen and has a Danish girlfriend.

Oh I love hearing other peoples suggestions for names
It's so hard isn't it - such a big decision and hard to agree with OH sometimes
My OH doesn't want anything that he thinks sounds 'pretentious', but if it's a girl wants us to consider calling her after her gran and her two great grans - Elizabeth. I managed to knock down his argument aout 'pretentious' when I pointed out that Elizabeth is the Queen's name!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I do like the name, but WW3 may break out if we use that, so in the interests of fairness to both families, there will be no family names used
Like others I'm trying to avoid top ten names and anything too fashionable that will 'date', but at the end of the day it'll depend on what we can agree on and whether it seems to fit when we actually meet bubbs.
Actually bubbs has been rather quiet today compared to normal - still plenty of movement so I'm not worried and have a MW apt tomorrow am so will mention it then, but its typical - I was wanting to talk to MW about bubbs being on the overactive sideIt's going to take after its mother and be stubborn
r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Oooh Names..
I like Bronwen, love Isla, not so sure on Myfanwy.
Euan is lovely for a boy..
We have Mia or Evie picked out for a girl and Isaac or Kai picked out for a boy.....although dh came home from Uni the other day saying he liked Raphael for a boy, No Way, it wil get called Raf or Rafa...I'm not having that. At least it is better than some of his previous suggestions, ie Theodora for a girl!!! or Dimitri for a boy!!! and other such strange names...
I can't believe I am 26wks Today, Hooooooray. I have my 28wk app on the 17th Dec and my 34wk Scan (to check placenta position) on the 29th of Jan. I also only have 6wks left in work, which I am so happy about as my back is in agony esp. after standing all day, I was nearly crying last night in pain.
