I have heard of many people who want short names so they don't get shortened, but never anyone who has a minimum letter stipulation!! You must share:D

awww Molly... that's my girl name! Mr P's grandma's name as well (although I didn't know that)

Hi girls glad you are all okay and chatting for Britain.

Ok here goes the spelling is Myfanwy and you can take a wild guess how I know, lol!! pronounced mih-van-we but fast, its a nightmare if you live in England and hard to spell nevermind pronounce if your not Welsh or never heard of it. Sorry girls but its best avoided, very old fashioned and even here in welshest wales its not a great name.

There are some beautiful welsh names, easy on the tongue but dont sound right with english accents so I cant have them (DH is from the west country!!!!)

In my family nearly everyone has a 4 letter name... me, my dad, both my half brothers, my half sister, my nan, my aunt etc
I don't want another 4 letter name!

I love Cerys and really have a fancy for Amber right now, cant seem to decide many boys names but i do like Alex for boy or girl.

my god i go away to tidy up and miss 3 pages lol!!!! it was me that started the name thing yet again lol!!!! my friends little girl is Elizabeth but we all call her beth and my abi is really abigail! mines is carol-ann and i get caz(mum got it from horror film:o )
