My husband has two particular favourites at the moment for a boy....Thor and wait for it....
....Sparticus  (I hope he is winding me up, but seems really serious about it. He says when they call the register at school all the boys will stand up saying "I am Sparticus" like the film:rotfl: )
 i hope he's taking the mickey lol I went through a phase of liking Titus which i supose is similar but has he not heard of lazy town and Sporticus? go go go get em lazy tooown Chris loves Sporticus0 -
Molly what can I say... MEN!
Thor is banned here because it's the name of the norse god - oh and it's 4 letters and I want names OVER 4 letters - long story
Thor was the God of thunder and disorganised warfare... His brother Tyr was the god of organised warfare
He thinks if we name him Thor he has to be big and butch and will not be picked on.
I think we would be asking for trouble with naming him Sparticus TBH (Although we are convincing MIL a boy will be called that as she was so disgusted with our choice of Bronwen after the dog:rotfl: . And we have plotted with BIL & SIL to tell MIL they LOVE the name too!!)
As for "serious" choices for a boy I like Euan, Owen & BrynValue of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Euan is nice... I am biased tho as I'm married to one!
Just tell DH that Thor according to myth got tricked several times both by mortals and Loke, the trickster godHe even had to disguise himself as Freya once to trick the head of the not so nice gods to get his hammer mjoelnir back
so if he wants a crossdressing son... (that might put him off the name lol)

Lets see him change his mind very quickly about the name after that piece of information as been revealed :rotfl: .Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

AM - so nice to hear your news about you and your OH really talking things through. Sending you lots of love, luck and hugs.
Caz - a friend from uni had the nickname Skye and my Inlaws dog is called Skye so not an option for us that one!
Ladybird - congratulations on your ML. How excitingr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
I like welsh boys names but hubby isn't so keen, the 3 on my list are Aled, Huw and Hadyn. Hubby doesn't like H names coz of out H last name, I'm pushing for Edgar Aled H for a boy bit like edgar allan poe but I'm sure what he's famous for (tho I'm sure Tine can tell me) lol!0
