Caz, I like the name Isla - it's very pretty. It was certainly on our minds as an potion, but clashes badly with the surname. It's got my vote
I turned down OH's suggestion of Felix for a boy as I used to have a cat called thatBut I'm not sure how Isla is a dogs name - men huh?!
r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Hello ladies!
Hope all is well.
I'm doing really good today.
I know I said I wouldn't post about my problem anymore but I though I would as it's not all doom and gloom, I last night had a talk with Dan and for once he actually listened, didnt keep butting in with excuses and blaiming me for things.
He also has recognised that he has anger issues and promises me he's going to seek help, I just hope he does, I think it would be a good thing for us both to seek help to be honst as I can be a bit of a nightmare too
He's also going to split his time between here and his Mums just to give us a bit of space, it was my idea and he actually agreed which I was shocked at.
He said (and yes it could probably be all lies and sweet talk but he doesn't usually give me the sweet talk) that he really wants to make it work, and wants us to be a proper family , has gotten quite attatched to Aston etc, and doesnt want to make the same mistakes he did with his ex who he has a daughter with.
I know I'm probably just being a mug but I do love him more than I've loved anyone in my whole life (except my boys!) and really cant see me not being without him, so I'll just see what happens.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Well, I was a good girl and took my "official sample" in to the surgery this morning, so they could have their "official test" on record. (I also kept my own sample and dunked a test in again just to make myself feel better about seeing those lines get darker).
DS just woke up from his nap, so we'll be off to Sainsburys soon. DH likes to drink that Bavaria non-alcoholic beer (and so do I), so I'll probably pick up some of that, so I can enjoy a shandy over the weekend. I'm feeling a little hungry (stomach is growling), but nothing looks good - and afterwards I get a little queasy - so maybe I'll see something good at Sainsburys. Although I know it's bad to go shopping when you're hungry - heaven knows what will find its way into the trolley! :rotfl:
Feeling - I've always heard that the size of the breasts had nothing to do with milk production (quantity) or that heavy women were less likely to be successful. Good grief - is your surgery all skinny people or something?I got the choice between 2 GPs to follow the pregnancy with the midwife - I chose the heavyset one - she's nicer and doesn't harp on about weight.

AM if you both keep it up that is FANTASTIC! I've got my fingers crossed that it works out for you! :T0 -
Woohoo, I'm back from my last day at work. Officially I'm on holiday this afternoon and tomorrow, and Mat leave starts on Monday. I'm going to celebrate shortly by having an afternoon nap!
This does mean that I'll be able to keep up with you lot a bit better. And I might actually get the spare room turned into baby's room in time. You never knowIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

ok ill post the soup but you will need to heat it up or it might be a bit cold when you get it hahaha:D sleeping is the best thing but when you have another LO around its not that easy so pull a blanket on the seatee and stick the crappy daytime tv on esp if LO is asleep! oh i love the smell of olbas oil
we have a westie called 'skye' but her kennel club name is 'isla princess' so thats where he gets the dogs name bit from! think he is set on 'Hope' and i know i like it but know everyone will say yeah hope shes the last???
AM good for you getting it all out and making the effort to move things on! getting him to stay away part of the time is a good idea as hopefully he will soon see what he is missing! i think this is what made me and OH closer when we split a few years ago.i wish you all the best of luck and hope that it all works out:D i know what you mean about the loving them more than anything been there and done that and we actually just needed to step back and seen what we had together! obviously we still argue etc but things are so much better, esp since we moved and got away from people who were actually making things worse rather than helping! What's for you won't go past you0
