Chef is now on strike and demanding bucket loads of tea before carrying on! :(

Did everyone know Asda do a maternity range online? There are only 13 items showing on the website now, but might be worth a look. First time I've noticed but it could have been there for ages! :D

well I'm not sure that cows and sheep are quite the same but at least you know he won't feint :rotfl:
I don't understand why some people find home births so disturbing, it was only around the 60's that people routinely started having babies in hospital, and only the late 40's early 50's when MWs were "invented" before that you relied on your mum and a belt to bite down on!

elle i didn't think tostabags were that expensive  or was it the moral of it more than the cost ;)

Anyway - i had my 28 week appt. last week, and that was the first time they'd mention the birth options.

I'm not allowed a home birth - because of emergency c-section with DS (11).
My options are the normal hospital route - with all drugs available, or the midwife led unit.

I'm fancying the midwife led unit - but they only have 3 rooms, one of which has the birthing pool. What if its busy?

I really quite fancy using the pool - i've been having loads of long baths to ease my hip pain, and always found a nice bath helped with period pain.
Also, its attached to the hospital should anything go wrong!

No, usually they're about £3 for two from Asda/Morrisons, but these were the thicker ones from Firebox which would have been £10 inc delivery had I not had a £5 voucher. I preferred them to the thinner ones a colleague has got but, for a change, I haven't got anymore Firebox vouchers so I'll have to pick up some more next time I'm in Morrisons :)

I thought i'd read somewhere recently that Asda were bringing back the maternity range - but then couldn't find anything in store so thought i'd maybe dreamt it!!

I'm off to have a look now - but do i really need to buy anything - i've only got 11 weeks to go, i could make do with what i've got!

I bet they don't do your model-esque size tho :p I'm slightly glad I've got more meat on my bones this time coz it was a nightmare getting size 8 maternity stuff, only mothercare and M&S had them besides rather expensive places that didn't have shops and charged p&p both ways

Ya know, I hadn't even looked at the sizes! Have now, and nope, no 6s. I won't tell you my bra size, but, despite being a size six frame, I fill out a size ten top rather well usually so maybe at least I can get some cheaper tops in more regular sizes when the time comes.

I'm really hoping I can keep the weight on that I put on whilst being pregnant. I know we joke, but it really isn't that much fun being this size and not being able to find much to fit.. :( I wanna be a decent 8-10 at least and be able to pick up anything in any store and it fits *dreams*

Well hubby attempted to apologise for his recent behaviour (he's been grumpy for days) by hugging me and saying love you, I told him why that wasn't good enough and got a bit teary - he's been in the kitchen for 20mins cleaning:T feel a bit guilty tho :embarasse
