Fab cake, SB - can see why you didn't want to cut into it!! Did one of your friends make it or was it a professional? Looks professional either way0

so happy for you elle x x x
went for my 20 week scan yesterday afternoon and was so worried all morning. As I have felt hardly any movement was still worried they wouldnt find a heartbeat but everything was fine. Measuring spot on for dates although baby was so active they couldnt get a very good picture.
Only problem is that I have a low lying placenta so have to go back when I am 36 weeks and see if it has moved. I will worry about that when the time comes though.0 -
I have reported post 2629 as spam (just so we don't all report it)

Thanks millie's mum!
Glad all is ok slscarborough, sounds like you've got a good outlook on things, no experience myself but don't they say the placenta can move as bubs grows? I guess thats why you get another scan to check - did you find out the colour of your "bump"?
SB - that cake looks scrummy!
Well, I've had a bit of a "show" this morning so looks like I'm coming "un-plugged" lol! Trying not to get too excited as this may not come to anything but at least it means things are starting to move. Had some more period type pains in the night, not enough to keep me awake just a bit uncomfortable. Its a bit bl**dy scary though ('xcuse the pun), sadly brought memories of mc flooding back but won't go into any further details seeing as it brekkie time for most people.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. Will pop back on if anything else happens.......who knows maybe another baby pic might not be too far off?! xProud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13ozand Rosie 12/01/05 7lb 9oz0 -
rosies mum - yes the placenta can move as your womb expands and baby grows so will just have to wait and see at 36 weeks. If it hasnt moved will be a c-section at 38 weeks but thats only a slim possibility. They did ask if i wanted to know the sex but hubby and I had decided not to find out although it was very tempting. I am convinced it is another boy as all my pictures have baby with legs right up in the air.
Remind me again how long after a show normally things start to happen as with DS2 I had my show whilst in labour and with DS1 it was too long ago to remember the time frame. When are you due?0 -
Yay my due date buddy is on the move :T I had very mild niggly period type pain all day on wednesday. Went to bed thinking nothing of it until 2am when the floodgates opened. So my guess would be you will be holding that little treasure before the day is out.
Good luck honey x:A
