oh elle i hope everything is okay. nothing better than being around your mum when you are worried about things. hope you have managed to have a reasonably worried free night.

my head is spinning at the moment. difficulties booking my 25week midwife appt as they only work two days a week at the main surgery and one afternoon a fortnight at my local surgery. having to get non frequent public transport doesn't help either!!!! have to give my work the certificate and tell them when i plan to leave by the end of the month which coincides with my midwife appt so not happy about that if im having difficulty getting an appt.

    i need a chill pill!!!!!!

Mine was similar, monthly til 30 weeks, then fortnightly til 36 weeks, then every week til the end - but that was 8 years ago!!

When she said 'we'll see you at 36 weeks then' - it occurred to me that that might be my last appointment - DS and DD both arrived at 38 weeks!

Realistically, what are work going to do if they don't get your form til the week after? I was supposed to give mine in this week but they can whistle whilst I am working into the night for them...I refuse to commit to anything until I have really thought it through and made a decision, I can't do that until this project is finished so they will have to wait ;):D

Can't you book a later appointment (late afternoon) and see if hubby can take you?

Feely - you have GOT to be kidding about the video camera

Big hugs to all the SPD ladies. No offence but hoping not to join you any time soon.

Congrats bonnie - glad you are both well now.

Sami - you look so different...have you had your hair done? :D:D

i can understand what you are saying and it does make sense. it's just my head is racing at the moment.

as for a 'late appointment', the MW seem to think 3.30 pm is late

hubby has only had about 12 hours sleep in the last 4 days so do not want him having to come with me. work will just have to miss me for a bit of the morning i think.

    must try to sleep............

Hi everyone, well.... I'm a new mummy :)

Lily- Anne arrived at 5.41 this morning. My waters broke at 2 am and things went pretty quickly after that. i did have a home birth but ended up being taken into hospital by ambulance as I lost over 1 litre of blood. I sat around in the hospital for 13 hours doing nothing much until they finally let me go home again.

I'll post with pics tomorrow, off to get some sleep now I hope, because I didn't sleep at all last night or all day today.
