blottedcopybook.... do you know in their sales if all prams are included???

i am looking at the ultimo 8 in 1, but thinking it might be too big for me, but it is still under consideration
  • Just a thought - has everyone ordered a Mamas & Papas catalogue? When I received mine it had a £5 gift card with it...only useful if you are going to buy something from M&P maybe but there is always something that will come in useful...especially a £5 off!!

They email you about all their sales too :D

Ooh, handy hint MFD... Think I might order one at some point...

My midwife has just been, lovely lady! She's been here ages and just gone through all the things I gues should of been discussed at the booking in appointment. She didn't check me or anything so a wasted pee sample but hey ho...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

you sound excited about finding out. do both you and OH want to know then?

I asked OH last night, and he isn't sure he wants to know! I think we are going to get the sonographer to write it down for us, so we can decide later if we want to know. Thats going to look a bit silly, after all, it is a private gender scan!

    And its in 24 hours!!

I've got stretch marks now. No bump, belly is the same size, but have got new stretch marks. How strange! I'm 16+4 and I want a bump!

  • _party__party__party_ MW has been!

Everything is fine. I asked about my sore back and she said that after the first baby everything is a lot slacker and unless you are a gym fanatic (:rotfl:) then the muscles have to work harder this time around.....and it will probably get worse _pale_.

I asked about baby weighing 6lb already () and she advised me to make my own appointment with the consultant after my next scan in 3 weeks to discuss my delivery options. Apparently the consultant still reviews my notes even though I don't actually see her so she would call me in if she was concerned. If he really is a whopper then I can request a c/s but I really don't want one!

Hope all goes well today, Candy!!! :T

that's a good idea about getting it written down. i remember when i was little famly friends of ours did this.

i didn't want to know, my hubby knows, but i am not intrigued to find out to be honest. i can't wait for the surprise at the end :D

this is what i am worried about. i have a scan at 34 weeks to see how bub's is growing (checking whether underweight/overweight/normal) and then i see the consultant straight after.

i'm going to have a heartattack if they tell me it's quite big then.

not sure if i would get the option of a c/s, or whether that depends on what Trust you come under????

glad your MW finally showed up. hope she was apologetic for forgetting you :D

The way I figure it, I'm going to have more than enough to be excited about when the baby is born. There are a whole lots of 'new' things and 'firsts'. Whereas I'm finding pregnancy a bit slow! I want excitement now!!

I'm in a rather good mood today though. After all the ups and downs of recent, OH is really coming round to the idea of having a baby. I think its starting to sink in now, that he is going to be a daddy.

really pleased to hear you are feeling like that, and great about OH.

i think for the men it must be difficult becuase they are just told you are pregnant and that they are going to be a dad. yes, they go to the scans etc and can see bubs on a screen, but it's your body that all the changes are happening too and with they aren't included.
