Awww moneyangel *gentle hugs* I'm sorry to hear that
And I hope you start feeling better soon. Keep us updated.
kmckee - It's good to know that your friend can turn to you for support. I'm sure you helped her alot today, even if it may not feel like it. You appear to be a wonderful friend.
smartie - OUCH! Poor boy, hope he's ok and Mummy's looking after himAlso, I think we may end up being cycle buddies this month. I think I will ov somewhere between sun-thurs, all being well!
nunny - glad you're feeling positive about this month! Now, spread the PMA around
Well, I'm CD19 today, and as I said earlier, I'm hoping to ov early-mid next wk. I'm going by a 6wk cycle, and am praying it won't be any longer. Feeling sicky and headachy this afternoon for some reason - think my body is fed up with being ill and is saying "oh well, lets give you everything now!".
I've made myself not think about TTC up until yesterday as my normal cycles are so long, but as I'm nearly 20 days in I'm starting to get very excitedI am sad that I have such long cycles, but when it comes to AF I guess I have it easier compared to most people.....swings and roundabouts. And to think I used to think that it was the 28 day cycles that were uncommon! What's wrong with me!? :rotfl:
Who's coming up for/on their 2ww? I need distraction from waiting to ov :rolleyes:0 -
I have given in and come to bed - cramping so bad that a hot water bottle is needed! At least I've managed to put the sick bowl to one side for now.
Will be right as rain tomorrow as I'm getting my hair cut and then have one more job to do before I see my OH. Can't wait!
As an aside, my ClearBlue Fertility Monitor didn't want a test stick early last month, so will it be any different this month do you think?0 -
Snugglepants, i'm coming up to my 2ww but not very confident this month as had ewcm last thursday, ov test showed a surge on friday, today have had creamy cm so slightly confused! My CM indicates that I'm approaching ovulation but my ov test showed a surge last friday which means that I should have ovulated by today (the instructions say that after a surge, you should ovulate at some point between 24 and 36 hours...)
all very confusing!0 -
(((Moneyangel))) - so sorry to read your sad news. Get some rest and take care of yourself. xxx
I met my best friend for lunch today - she told me she had a mc last week. I didn't even know she was pg (we don't live near each other and i hadn't seen her for ages). I'm obviously really sad for her, I think its hit her hard but she keeps things in. It also brought back my mc memories. Sounds like she had a worse time than me, as the time between her starting spotting and the mc diagnosis was much longer.
I also need to confess my selfish moment (I didn't share it with her). Turns out she got pg by accident - on the pill and had tummy bug and didn't use extra protection - don't get me wrong she does want kids at some point and would be a great mum - but she's obviously really fertile. I felt awful but I had a jealousy pang halfway through lunch - I don't wish any problems on her, I just wish I could be as fertile as all my friends seem to be. I feel a complete cow thinking this when she's just had a mc, but I feel I should be honest on here. I guess its cathartic to write it down.

Bitzer,
Don't give up hope yet! I've had a couple of cycles where by monitor only gives me 1 high day and in 1 cycle went straight from low to peak on CD18!
MadMac sorry you're feeling rough with AF, it's enough of an insult it showing up at all without making it painful too! My cbfm starts asking for tests at cd9.
MoneyAngel sorry to hear your news, it does show though that we torture ourselves so much more by early testing. Alot of women would just have assumed it was a heavy af and been none the wiser. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Kmckee, how lucky is your friend having someone she can be herself with and talk to rather than bottling things up.
Gena, we've all been there I'm sure! I know I have. Only difference being my friend's didn't miscarry so there's one with single mum with 2 kids by 2 different fathers neither of whom are around. The other has a 6 week old that seems to be causing her more upset than joy it would appear at the moment! Apparantly it's been the longest 6 weeks of her life and she would never do it again!0 -
MoneyAngel... so sorry for your news babe
I hope you have a speedy recovery and feel much better soon.
JustMarried - I am also 5 days late (or is it 6? I am so fed up I've lost count!) with lots of BFNs. I'm taking MadMac's advice and laying off the tests for a while - to be honest this is not difficult as I don't have symptoms of AF or pregnancy... just feel like I normally would in the middle of my cycle. But for my own peace of mind, going to wait a week or so before testing (unless I suddenly get some symptoms!). Please keep us up to date with your situation though... I hope you get a BFP soon!0 -
I've got 2 cats... wear gloves and wash hands properly after!!;)

Moneyangel, I am so sorry to hear that hun
MadMac, are you sure you are OK? If I was feeling like you are I would take myself to the doctors.
Smartie, hope your DS is better soon. Not nice being stung/bitten by anything
Well I've managed to do everything I need to and they're still in Suffolk!! Got a real shock when MIL rang and said FIL was staying here for the night. Everything in the bedroom has been changed and the bathroom looks so clean you could eat your lunch from it
Not leaving for another half hour, but they're stopping for fish and chips on the way back........evil gits!!! I have just eaten a big bar of dairy milk to myself though.....I'm such a pig!
Getting to have a day out tomorrow though, going with them to Evesham which will be nice, but I'll be working all day (boo!!)Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -
