Thank you everyone for all the congratulations. I have my fingers & toes crossed that I'll actually get some symptoms this time as last time I had none & that was when it didn't work out. & I think I'll stick around with you guys for a while - if you'll have me :D

Warning TMI: I don't know if it's only me that's this paranoid after a mc but I've got an upset tummy today & everytime I go to the toilet & my bowels are contracting hard I start panicking that it's going to make me have a mc/I'm having a mc:o. Also everytime I feel the slightest damp sensation I have to run to the toilet to check it's not blood.:o

The drive to the wedding took 7 hours & the drive home 5.5 but we had a lovely time. The reception was actually in my aunties mahooosive garden & as we were staying at their house it meant the morning of the wedding was manic rushing around prepping food etc (nearly everything was done by the family), going to the hairdressers to get my hair put up & trying to get DD to sit still long enought to do her 2 french plaits! It was lovely though to go to a wedding that was about the couple & not about the money/ being flashy. Spent the whole weekend trying to make up excuse as to why I couldn't drink & serupsticiously (sp?) pouring my drinks into OH's glass!

Huge conratulations to kindofagirl :j:j:j Can't believe we've got 3 BFP's already - I think we are going for a record this month, so come on girls ;)

Really sorry to hear AF turned up madmac, I know when you're desperate for your BFP it's hard to think this way, but I tried to tell myself that when you eventually conceive that little person will be an amazing individual that you will adore, but that will only have been possible to create from that one conception. If you'd got pregnant a month or year earlier it would have been a different little person & so when you do conceive, you are getting a very special little person that otherwise you would have never met. Hope that makes sense to someone other than me :o

Lots of baby dust to everyone.

    Ello lovely peoples :D

My mums always harrassing me for grandchildren too Im the oldest and all my friends and relatives have kids that shes always fussing over and she reckons my brothers too young still (hes 21) so she doesnt bother him about it!

I have spent the entire day cleaning the house as for some reason instead of us visiting the caterers tomorrow they are coming to visit us! None of the other ones we have seen have done that but Im not complaining as I also have that stupid jobcentre medical thing tomorrow which im dreading and couldnt afford to get to both.

AFs going away now so Im all prepared for my preseed adventure this month... altho we will be staying at my mums for a week when I OV so it might be a bit difficult but its summer and theres some lovely beachs round her way if we cant get any peace lol

EA hope the sickness lets up on you and you feel better soon and I deffinatly second the people who have been here a while getting BFP first Iv waited ages now so Im sure I can wait another month if it means they get there:D
  • Evening all, have managed to catch up but simultaneously forget who had what news, sorry, so all have some dodgy hugs regardless :grouphug:

Haven't done a great job of keeping ttc off my mind today, so going to see if OH is in the mood ( is the pope catholic?!) and at least do something proactive about it...

Dh managed to make an excuse that he'd hurt his knee earlier to avoid helping with the gardening! Anyway he's just come hobbling over saying "oh my knee, it really hurts, it really needs s*x now!" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Men honestly! And this time next week I'll be begging him for it because it will be the right time!

    Congratulations Kindofglair!
  • Hi All,

Feeling really poorly today... I posted earlier that I got AF this morning after having the worst cramps I have ever felt, couldnt move or get out of bed for ages...something felt not right. A few days ago I had a pain in the left side and then spotting (which I was hoping was burrowing pains)...but then AF came today 5 days early so I assumed I was obviously not pg. I have been feeling all day that something is wrong....and the pain has continued (very unusual for me)...then I got home ths evening and had to rush to the loo....(TMI alert)

I had a rush of blood and huge clots/lumpy dark bits come out. Went through 2 pads in no time at all. I'm really worried about this.

Something has just occurred to me. My opk's didnt pick up and surge this month so I dont know if I ovulated....you dont need a period if you didnt ovulate do you?? Im so confused!
  • moneyangel, if you still feel like that in the morning, get down to the gp honey, that doesn't sound good at all...

Moneyangel, I think you should get to the docs, just to check things over?

Thanks for all your congratulations, it still hasnt sunk in, the only symptom I have is sore boobs, so I am kinda paranoid, any tips from anyone to stop being paranoid? I am just worried that something is going to go wrong, and I have no idea why I am worried, I think I am just a natural worrier?

I just think that I should have more symptoms? like morning sickness or something like that? does not everyone get that? or is it too soon for me to have it? (I am nearly 6 weeks)

Oh is ringing the docs for me today to explain I have moved towns so I need to register there and then get in to see them, I had a little bit of brown spotting yesterday, with a little bit of cramping, so again worried head comes on, so the sooner I speak to the docs the better?

And OH wants me to ring the cat and dog shelter today to see if the kittens are ready to rehome, cos if so we are going to get one YAY, but that means I need to clean all the cat stuff out lol (we (me, mam and bro)nhad a cat called Pip and she died 2.5 years ago and mam gave me her cage, and her carrier and litter tray etc) but will be so cool if we get a kitten

Sorry that post was mega long lol, I havent spoke to people other than my family in 14 days lol cos of being on hols

Back from my holiday, wow theres been a lot of chatting going on!!

    Congratulations to the BFP's!:j:T:j:T

I was due to test on Thurs (9th) but could sense AF coming a couple of days before. She finally got me on the 10th, so I'm onto next month now. I was pretty sure I hadn't done it last month as I was confused over OV sticks and was sure I'd got it wrong. Hopefully I'll make a bit more sense out of it this month!
