I'd have MS 24/7 for the whole 9 months if it menat we had a baby at the end of it all. Had a friend that gor pg by accident last year and spent 9 months whinging about not wanting baby initially to then whining about how awful it was being pg and how she was dying! Highly insensitive I thought given the fact she knew our situation! I say this to dh all the time and he just says" I'll remind you of this when you start to moan about how awful you feel!" I just said well it'll be my perogative to do so after trying for over 2 years and going through so much before hand!:rotfl:

Oh Becs I know what you mean. My sis is so ungrateful for her baby...she spent the whole pregnancy moaning and is still doing so now her baby is three months old!
My AF arrived today and Im absolutely gutted. Had the worst cramps this morning....worse than I have ever had before, then AF came...5 days early!!! Have been in tears and taking it out on OH this morning :-(....we've made up now though :-)

Its crushing isnt it!....I really dont understand how 'accidents' happen when its this hard when you are actually trying!

Annie, how regular are your cycles normally? If they aren't usually this delayed, could it be due to stress or illness in this cycle? Otherwise I would say try to stop thinking about it and give yourself a few days away from the tests, see if things then appear...

EA, I don't actually like ginger either - ginger biscuits being about my limit occasionally, but when I had to find an alternative to caffeine drinks, this tea ended up being the one I really liked!

TMI alert - as I appear to be having awful AF sickness this time around, I'm drinking more of it today to keep some food down with it!

Cycles are normally regular as clockwork.. every 8th or 9th of the month so that would be around 30 days. Stress... well, we travelled, so could be it I guess. I dunno... seems weird.

You're right though, give the tests a rest for a bit.

What experience has anyone else had coming off the pill? I've taken diannette for about 6 years now and took my last one on 12th June. We didnt use it as contraception so quite frequently missed a few if I forgot to take them - at least 3 or 4 a month.

This week I've been feeling really odd, getting upset over silly things and feeling nauseous and light headed. Seems to start at 10/11ish and goes away mid afternoon, definitely getting worse when I'm hungry. Also getting pains, a bit like a stitch, in sides and back. Could this all be pill related?

Oh MoneyAngel I know exactly what you mean. That was me last weekend, I've found my PMA again now for another month at least! I know so many people who have had "accidents"! I just can't see how. Bad parenting makes me so angry and upset these days aswell, it just seems so unfair. We were at a picnic concert last night and there were a few fairly young babies there. Some of them were being taken within a few feet of the speakers and we were sat a good 40' away and it was way too loud for my ears let alone a month old baby! There was another being carried around at about 9.00pm with a thin blanket barely covering her with little bare legs dangling out at the bottom and it was so cold last night! Fair enough if you want to take them but tuck them up snug in a pram so at least that can absorb some of the noise and cold and sit further back!

    Welcome Costaerer,
Tehre's a few of us on here that have been trying that long and longer! Some of us also pop on to the "TTC 12 months not straightforward" thread. Alot of the ladies on that one are doing IVF though but there's a few trying clomid and with pcos so you get a good mix between the two threads. Theres alot of support on both and there's always someone else who's thought or felt something or been in the same situation at some time or another.
