Same as my hospital! I was told I couldn't have a scan cos If I was losing the baby, I'd lose it, and there is nothing they can do. I was advised to go home and drink tea! Some hospitals do early scans, shame that they all don't.

I just did a search for 'pregnancy counselling' and my area. I went to a place in Woking. A lot are linked to churches, and are for any pregnant women in distress. They can help women decide if they want to keep the baby, but also just offer counselling for women who are struggling emotionally. I was sure I was going to keep the baby, but I just wanted to talk through my fears about the pregnancy and being a mother.

In that case if you did concieve around the 18th then yes 5+3 weeks is the most pg you could be (you can get a positive result on an early test from approx 4 weeks nowdays)
Either way it's a definate positive x

Re your GP, - I think most places have your first midwive appointment around 8 weeks now so it's just a case of getting booked in with her - if your anything like I was you may want to ask for an early scan (before 12 week scan) for reassurance.

Know it's hard but try not to relax (though that sounds so silly saying that to you knowing what you must be going through!) - so pleased for you x

Congrats skintchick, i am soo pleased for you. There appear to be lots of counseling groups out there, if you go to church they may have a counseling group there, or contact your GP surgery and see if they can give you some direction of someone who can talk to you. It sounds like you just need a big hug and to be told to relax and enjoy being pregnant. Happy vibes will help little bubs stick

I have been and got two Clearblue digitals with conception indicators, and have told hubby - he is like me, kinda pleased, kinda scared and very much wanting to see it in words!

My cats has come to sit with me - when I was Pg before she avoided me totally so I'm not sure what this means, but I am having a cuppa and trying to create enough wee to test again!

Last time I tested after two hours of not weeing so am trying to make it to half four so it is the same timeframe.

Also going to use a different pot!

PREGNANT!

conceived 1-2 weeks ago so I'm at the same stage as I was last time - about 5 weeks.

Wow.

I seem to be super fertile! Now I have to keep baby in there and make it to birth.

I can;t believe it. Wow.
