And one thing: I used the pot to pee in that I used when I was PG last time. I did wash it out of course but is there any chance that the test is picking up this v old hormone?
Congratulations! - that's a definite positive result Skintchick
You know your being silly about the old pee pot picking up the hormones from last timeabsolutely not!

Are you sure? I'm worried I should have used a new pot now. I did rinse it out but I can;t remember if I used soap in it or not. I think I did but I'm not sure. I'm just not very good at peeing on the stick - I usually flood it and it won;t give me a result.
Think I have to go to town for a digital. I'm shaking. I feel like crying. How weird is that?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Congrats
I agree with everyone that is a positive reading.0 -
I know you're worried but there is no way anything in the pot would alter the reading like that....not if it was going to be negative....Go get one if it will put your mind at rest but its definately a positive xxxDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090

Forget the pot! x
I would think it's a very definate positive in my limited experience of BFP's (have had 4 in the past) - if I have to guess I'd say 5 weeks pg at least
Considering you've done the test in the afternoon with clear wee you've got a pretty strong result there - get a digital if it will help you but do another tomorrow morning and you'll get a clearer line.
btw it's not weird to feel like crying after what's happened - I was the same as you when I was in your position - it took a long time to sink in and I had very mixed reactions and felt very nervous x
I hope things go well for you this time round Skintchick x0 -

My miscarriage only ended on Oct 17 and the frist time we BD-d was the 18th, so the most I can be is about three weeks gone although I know they would count that as around five. So very very early days.
I will get a digital AND test tomorrow as well! Guess that wine in the fridge is out of bounds now.
I feel totally stunned. Not sure when to tell my GP. Wow. It's all too much with the miscarriage and then redundancy and now this.

I'd tell your GP when you get another BFP. They probably won't do anything different, but might give you an early scan for reassurance.
As there is so much doing on in your life right now, perhaps pregnancy counselling would help? I had one session with a Church Charity, and it really helped - just being able to talk about my fears and worries in a safe place.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I was told at the hospital that next time I got PG I would not get an early scan cos 'there's no point' so i will have to pay for one.
What is pregnancy counselling? Where do you find out about it?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
