They say these things come in 3's but lets hope we do 2 lots this month at least! That would be half of us testing.
Tmi coming up, has anyone had sore nipples? Mine have been really really sore for a couple of days now. Only 5dpo so think it's too early for any symptom spotting but hope it's not a sign of a seriously early AF!

My boobs started getting huge really early on and they've been nothing but trouble the last 2 weeks or so inc sore nipples!:rotfl:

I discussed this with pregnant friend yesterday (I gave in and told her everything:rolleyes:) and she didn't get this. We both decided it might be hormones playing up because of coming off pill.... or indeed being PG

I get sore nips before AF but not at the rest of the time unless OH wont leave them alone lol Maybe thats whats causing yours Becs

I'm new to the thread - I've learnt a lot from it so far so thanks to all the regulars!

My partner & I have just started ttc (this month!). Can anyone tell me how soon after a missed af you would test? also, can you recommend pregnancy testers? was wondering if supermarket own brands are ok?

According to my tests I still haven't OV'd. I have really regular 28day cycles and FF reckoned I should have OV'd on Thurs. I've been doing OV tests since Monday. Didn't have any lines at all until Thurs when I had a really faint line. I've since had faint lines every day testing late morning and evening. I'm not quite sure whats going on and I'm worried that I might have missed it. We did BD on the days FF suggested and a bit extra for luck;). Can anybody shed some light on this before I drive DH mad going on about it?!

Welcome Greenr! Good luck with ttc. I think most would say its a good idea to wait at least til day AF is due before testing although obv you can get a result before then. It just saves the pain of getting false negatives unnecessarily.

As far as tests I think all of the big brands are fairly equal, some allow early testing and I've heard First Response mentioned alot. I purchased a big batch of cheap OV and Preg tests on ebay last month and they seem to do the job for a whole lot less!

Hi girls! Am back from the wedding now, phew it was a long day. Thanks for all the congrats messages!! Im so excited

Heres a qucik run down of my morning.

5:30am - Wake up. Take temp, still high.
Go to get a drink and decide to do a test.

Faint positive.

Wake OH up to check it, he can see it, but makes me do another. Still faint.

Back to bed. 7:30am, do another test (ebay cheapies) still faint.

OH said we need a digital. Go to sainsburys, they dont do digi ones. Go to tesco, they have them but want to go to boots instead tso i can use my points to pay for it.

Come back home and re do test. Get OH to check it as im to afraid. Its positive! He shoved it in my face lol.

Had to travel in car today and felt so sick. Everyone at wedding was asking when were going to start trying again lol.

So yeah, im pregnant and i cant belive it. Obviously OH thinks he has super sperm again. He described it as this...

You see im like a nice car, sometimes when it doesn't work its sad. But when it does work its effing amazing!

Im waiting for you smartie, has AF come yet? If not test please?
