    :grouphug:Have a dodgy hug EA!

I think we all come accross someone like that at some stage. I have a rather "alternative" friend that has 2 kids by 2 different fathers neither have any involvement with the kids and she hasn't been in a long time relationship with either. When 1 of her kids was a lot younger her daughter was diagnosed with cancer and my friend just seemed to use it as a drama for her to be the centre of attention and I just felt then she really wasn't there for her daughter as a result of that.

Blimey Becs, that's awful. Some people make me feel so very sad :(

Have you seen this lovely post on the PG thread today:

Made me feel better, for a while at least!

Edit: I'm liking the look of your dress too! Trouble is I'll bet you will want to keep more than one...

Morning ladies, Hope everyone is doing ok, and getting lots of Bd in at the moment.
I am now officially counting the days down until I go to the consultant on friday morning . I can not believe I will be starting the clomid and I will be officially starting to concieve again. (although I must admit I haven't stopped trying even though they said I am not conceiving) you never know hey.

Well as you can probally tell im getting a little excited about the meeting on friday. It seemed so far away and now it is virtually on top of us.

Im hoping this time I can be helped as I dont think their is very much more they can do for me after this, so really is my last chance. If this does fail and a BIG IF, then girls im officially out of the running for good.

I will of course keep you all updated with my progress throughout and hope we all get the BFP that we all so deserve.

My luv to all you ladies and lots of baby dust for you all

Ooh kencokenco, that seemed to come around quickly! So I'll count the days down to Friday with you and join you in thinking positive thoughts. I am sure the positivity will help, how exciting :D

Good morning EA, you didn't get long at home last night - hope you live near to work at least! So, get dress hunting online and here's hoping you find something suitable, x

Raining here today, grrrrr. Just in time for the weekend

    Morning everyone

Well I'm in possibly THE worst mood this morning. OH and I were in bed ;) last night and all of a sudden I hear "Boom Boom Pow" by The Black Eyed Peas at full blast. I got up, walked into the living room with the quilt and tried to get to sleep on the sofa (which is virtually impossible!)

The music got LOUDER:mad: so OH went down to speak to him and within minutes the music was off:mad:

Then the not so lovely bloke who lives next door must have been having a party or something as his front door was banging, and the fire door you go through to get to the stairs kept banging, OH was running backwards and forwards while I sat and killed people on GTA IV, thinking they were the people who have peeved me off!

I eventually get into bed at nearly 2 and was woken by non other than the postman at 8 this morning:mad:

To top it all off I've got to go to my SIL's later on to stitch her up.....I'm trying to surprise her with something and if it comes off I'll be loved forever. If it don't I might try and do it myself anyway!:T

KencoKenco, if you don't think about it (I know thats difficult ;) ) Friday should come around quite quickly, well I hope it does :T

Sorry to hear that nunnygirl, sounds like you had a right old traditional Friday night then :o

You've mentioned this stitch up before, so I hope it goes well today and then you'll be able to tell us all about it. Gives me something to look forward to today, at least! A walk round Tesco isn't something to look forward to in my book, but that's my job for today!

Step 1...Pee on the stick. (must be sure to hold it under urine stream for a heartbeat longer than recommended just to be sure).

Step 2...Stare at stick while you continue peeing. Feel heart jump when urine passes over the spot where the line would be and it hitches for a second, then gets a dark line...then keeps going, taking your dark line with it to the test window.

Step 3...Place on bathroom counter. Pretend not to stare at it. Let's try to give yourself busy work to keep from looking at it. In fact, your toilet now gets cleaned once per day.

Step 4...Tell yourself you are expecting a BFN. Then start to mist up when you see that it is, in fact, a BFN. Stare at the blank spot for a full minute before picking it up.

Step 5...First, go to window and check it under day light.

Step 5...Now, stand on toilet to be closer to light in ceiling. Check strip.

Step 6...Close one eye. Squint other eye.

Step 7...Turn on several lamps around house. Hold strip under lamp. Check strip.

Step 8...Hold strip OVER lamp. Check strip.

Step 9...Hold strip in front of lamp so light shines THROUGH strip, just in case.

Step 10...Pull stick apart. Hesitate for a heartbeat when you realize you are holding the still wet "wick" in one hand, then continue the destruction.

    Step 11...Repeat Steps 5-9.

    Step 12...Throw stick away.

Step 13...Pick stick back up out of trash.

Step 14...Repeat Steps 12 and 13 the rest of the day!

    True?
    :rotfl:

This made me chuckle - it's me every 4 weeks!

We are off on holiday for 2 weeks today to Zante to find some of that elusive stuff they call sunshine!

Been trying to avoid the thread a little as feeling very despondent about TTC at moment, it's almost a year since I stopped taking the pill - hopefully some sun, sea & sand with me ovulating in the middle of holiday will be enough to fix the problem!

Hope you all enjoy your BD'ing. Fingers crossed there will be some BFP's for when I get back.

Huge Congrats to Sarah Joanne (was that the right username! I haven't time to search for it as still packing with 4hours till we leave!!!!) :T Just to point out - not trying to pee on your bonfire so to speak but if you have very long cycles & it's been 12 weeks since your LMP I don't think that will mean you will be 12 weeks as they count back 2 weeks from ovulation and your LP can only be 16 days maximum. But still you get to enjoy even more weeks of that lovely warm being pregnant feeling.

    Baby dust to everyone.
