For some reason I can't stomach doing the slimfast plan. I've seen so many people close to me fail doing it and also a former work collegue of mine used to literally live on the shakes and she collapsed at work. Turns out she was bordering on anorexia. Nothing to do with Slimfast I know but still gets me thinking

I'll NEVER be a size 10 purely cause of my body shape, but a 16-18 will do me just fine

I like Slimfast, managed to lose a couple of stone on it last year when it crept on thanks to this bl**dy tumour, then got slack and piled it back on. I'm useless at watching what I eat so if I know I have something specific like Slimfast I find it easier to cope. Then after a few weeks once I've got the routine in place, I start to eat normal food at the same calories! Sounds mental I know but I find it easy to start with something so rigid so I can get into the routine :) Plus I quite like the way it tastes! I used to be an 8/10 but just keep piling on weight at the moment :( Would love to be back to a 10/12 to get married. Doctors have also told me the only thing I can do to help my own health is to stay healthy and lose a few lbs, so I always think of that when I'm tired in the gym, I'm doing it to get my baby!

I been trying to lose weight for the wedding/TTC and its gone horribly wrong. I cant go on a slimfast plan type thing as iv suffered bulimia for most of my life and if i felt like i was failing or put on a few pounds when i weighed myself id make myself ill trying to sort it. So I decided to try and eat more healthy, Im vegi so its fairly easy, nothing but fruit veg and pulses, i no longer eat processed food (except for the occasional subway) threw out the deep fat fryer and cook everything from scratch all by myself so i know exactly what im eating.. what happens? my jeans wont tie anymore... can anyone explain that?

    Looks beautiful confuzzled :)

Ooh I just spotted this - http://www.theweddingdresscompany.com/product/art-couture/ac-154 - think it would look gorgeous in ivory...esp if we had our bfp by the time we get married...

Oh emmzy :( How frustrating - could be bloat? I weighed myself a couple of days ago and weighed a full half stone more than I did today thanks to some lovely bloating!

Oooh 260422723200 on eBay is absolutely stunning...I've just emailed OH to ask if it's weird for me to buy a dress when we've no idea when we're going to get married! Hoping he says 'no darling, perfectly normal' so I can buy it :D Have been perusing dresses on the internet for ages but never seen one I love like that, oooh! And it's a bargain!
