We just can't decide where to marry. My family's tiny (only 5 of us including me) and his is massive and fragmented with a big step family, many of whom don't get on. So, I want to go abroad, but he daredn't do it to his mum. So frustrating, and I can see it never happening! Maybe one day I'll just buy a dress and book a date and have done with it :D

Oooh Disney , was it fab?

What kinda dresses did you all have?

    I completely adore this - http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/42387 - I know it's not what you'd expect but it's just gorgeous!

Looking at landy for my dress too but there are so many nice ones and hopefully by the time I get wed I will have lost a comsiderable amount of weight....fingers crossed

Disney was amazing, everything was perfect. I did have to talk my mum and dad into getting on a plane. They wanted the big white wedding here.

There was 12 of us in total, most of them were something to do with the wedding party. Everyone loved the day and thought it was better than they had ever expected. I'm sure they thought Mickey Mouse was going to give us away lol.

I had a ballgown dress, off the shoulder with a train in ivory.

Do what you want to do and not what the family think you should do you won't regret it.

    Hello everyone,

I've been lurking this thread since January, which was when we were thinking of TTC, but we delayed it until now so we could save up some money and enjoy our last holiday of just the 2 of us.

I've decided not to chart as I have a tendency to get obsessed and I'm already quite a stressed out person about everything in life, even when things are going my way. I've read that stress is a bad thing when TTC so I'm trying to chill out, have some me time, and not care about the silly things that stress me out normally :)

We're planning on bding every other day during the appropriate time, but I'm not sure when that would be.

I've just come off the pill and am planning to bd from day 10 onwards. But how many days should we do it for? The best bit is we're on hols from day 15 - so I'm hoping to be really relaxed and have some bding then.

    Baby dust to all :)

Sounds perfect B2B :) I'd love to go to Bali or somewhere and just marry as part of the holiday...I don't think other people should be that important when it's the first day of your life, but oh disagree's/can't be bothered with the earache from his demanding family. Argh...

I'm hoping to have lost weight too nunny :) Restarting myself on slimfast this week to try and kick start things, maybe when I'm a size 10 I'll book a wedding...give myself some motivation!!

Confuzzled - that's absolutely gorgeous! I love dresses like that but I always think something like that would make me look like a little girl playing dress up as I'm not really girly iykwim? Where did you take it on your first anniversary?!
