I am on CD18 & 4DPO, today I got a 5p sized spot of blood stained CM, is it too early for this to be implantation bleeding?

I know I am probaby SS but I have painful boobs which I very rarely get, a mild pain a bit like AF cramps & can't stop going to loo for a wee.

Congratulations to IHF on your BFP, let's hope we are all joining you very soon.

I think it depends on what website you read as to when implantation occurs. The earliest I have read is that implantation happens between 6 & 12 days after fertilisation. Apparently it takes the egg 4-5 days to leave the tube.

The spotting could have been from ov. Sometimes women experience not only pain but a little spotting too.

  • Congratulations IHF!
Af started yesterday so now onto the next month. I have started using the fertilityfriend website thanks to posts on here. Trying to stay positive. My sister has her 12 week scan tomorrow. Trying my best not to be jealous too! School holidays next week, so as my DH and I are both teachers we will be getting some extra bding in!!!! Not much chance usually as DH works about 80 hrs a week!

Just watching The Apprentice. Even that is about baby stuff! Must be in the air.

Fingers crossed for more great news on this thread soon.

Yay! Another BFP! Congrats Iheartfreebies, wishing you a sticky and happy bean for the duration. You have made me cry, so happy for you :j

Jealous and trying really hard not to be! Where's OH when you really need him for a cuddle...

So welcome kindofagilr, we're a friendly bunch, even if we cry way too much! :rotfl:

Leopardlady and becs, know just what you mean and am still on a real emotional rollercoaster, have been in bed about half an hour after I get in from work each night with my hot water bottle and TV for company. I miss my OH so much, how silly after all these years. Will keep everything crossed that you both get lucky this month, that would really, really make me sob with happiness! ;)

Ah MadMac, you should join us and make it 3! I've noticed it usually goes in 3's at work! Shouldn't complain though as it's good for my nappy cake sales! But seriously seems to be 1 then you suddenly hear of another 2, then the next batch! We're currently waiting for number 9 at work-here's hoping! Thinking I might see if I can get a job in IT as they seem to be extra fertile in there!

Becs, I'll try really hard to join in next week when I finally get the chance! But knowing my luck, someone else will end up making the 3! Ah well, I'm still hoping for you all x

(BTW I work in IT and it hasn't helped me!)

Thanks MadMac for your lovely welcome

I am sooo looking forward to BDing lol, roll on July when I can start!!!!!

I have even been checking out pay at work, I always thought I would want to work full time, or really that we couldnt afford for me not to work full time

But I went on the pay calulator at work, and if I worked 3 days a week instead of 5 my come out pay would go from £1030 to £750 (OH is on about £1150) so I thought hmm thats not too bad lol and I would get 2 days off work too, then my friend told me I would get £80 Child Benefit and £80 tax credits (for the first year, going down to £40 in the second year) so that bumps my pay back up to £910

So thats really not too bad is it?

I'm lucky in the fact that when we do get pregnant, MIL has offered to look after baby as much as we want, but I only want her to look after baby one day a week, then my mam said she will have baby one day a week (she is parttime and has monday's off) then I would like baby to go in nursery here in work for the other day, which is £25 a day (subsidised I think) so I def think its doable for me to be part time

Sorry I am getting totally ahead of myself, but I have wanted babies for years now, so its all so exciting that it might soon be time (I know it can take years, so trying to not get too excited lol)

    Massive congratulations IHF :T:T:T:j:j:j

    Woo hoo!!

So Becs, if we follow your method, we're expecting 2 more on this thread and 2 more on 12months+ thread, right? Room for 4 to get that elusive BFP :o Fairly sure I'm out this month so will keep everything crossed for you all :D However...if we did get lucky, we'd be due Feb 5th :)

Lonelyinlondon - have a lovely, busy ;) week off!

kinofagilr - it's v exciting isn't it? I remember getting way ahead of myself and looking at baby things when we first started trying :o Hoping it's a quick, easy process for you :) I'm still trying to get my head around sums in terms of what we'd lose & gain should I take time off for a baby, so confusing when you're self employed!

I managed to speak to OH last night about the lack of action around peak times, he said sometimes he just feels like I'm telling him to do it on demand because it's ov, not because I actually want to :o Guilty as charged! So his suggestion is that we stop trying to do it every day for a week, or every second day all month, and just do it as and when we pleased, as inevitably once we relax we'll hit the days around ov naturally. I agreed with him but quite honestly will still know exactly where I am in my cycle so suppose I will just relax and do it when I please for that week :rotfl:

    xxxxxx
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

This happened with us. A while ago hubby felt like I was only asking for sex because I had to, not wanted to. I was so bad we would sit at the dining table eating tea and I would warn him that we HAD to do it that night.
His performance went downhill. He could still do what needed to be done but it took much longer to get there IYKWIM. Sometimes so long we abandoned :o
So for a while we tried to just do it as and when we pleased but found that as I have no sex drive from losing my cervix & he was too tired and stressed from work we weren't doing it!!
Though we have been together 19 years so haven't been at it like rabbits for a few years now :rotfl:

So now nothing is said as such but as I know when ov roughly happens I am 'spontaneous' for a couple of days before, during and after ov and he is fine with that. He obviously knows what's going on but because nothing is said he doesn't feel under the pressure to perform.

Oh and if he just doesn't want to or is too tired try not to get cross. I find that bit hard and I usually sulk all night, getting no sleep because I am too busy sulking :D
