Oh nunny do love hearts really help heartburn? lol

I have a huge stock of rennies as i have a hiatus hernia which causes acid reflux at random points, so really looking forward to any pregnancy heart burn!! Oh well, there really is no need to worry about the what ifs, just look forward to the "oohs and ahhs" of a little baby :)

    Morning everyone.
How stupid am i!!!! I read my last ov test wrong. Dont ask how:o. I'm now back where i started. I think i'm currently on cd51! I think i ovd between the 5th and 7th (i may have read that test wrong too tho:o) so when would that put my af date? I need to stay away from the tests:rolleyes:, coz my cycle has been so long i making myself paranoid.

Your heartburn still bad nunnygirl? Mine driving me up the wall. I cant stand gaviscon so might give lovehearts a whirl. I had fresh pinapple when i was pg with my ds worked a treat.

Can't stand pineapple. prefer to be chewing on lovehearts! (considering I got a boat load from Swizzels yesterday after I sent them a letter asking where the refreshers were in my Bumper Bag)

Heartburn keeps coming and going. Never had it so bad, normally only used to happen after I'd eaten pastry.

    Hey everyone.

I've been trying to keep up with this thread to see how you are all getting on - & to be honest the pregnancy thread moves much too fast for me, I just can't keep up so have barely posted :o.

I'm glad the ov tests all arrived safe & sound & I hope they bring lots of luck to you! We got pregnant the first month we tried them hence the big surplus supply. I have to say that the Day 14 thing is duff information Leopard Lady, it might be the right day for a few ladies but is definetely not the case for everyone. The month I got pregnant I got a full positive on my ov test on day 19 of a 31 day cycle & you don't ovulate until 12-48 hours after that - so that's 12 days before my next cycle at the most, but more likely 11 days. That means I have a short luteal phase, most womens are between 12-16 days so I always counted back 16 days from my next CD1 as a minimum.

Nickynoo a 51 day cycle?? That's long! That must be a killer when waiting for your next AF.

I can't remember who was asking about green/blue with regaards to hpt/ov tests but ours were green for ov & blue for hpt. However, an ov test can show a positive, as though you are ovulating again, if you are pregnant so theoretically you can use either as an hpt.

Pookie - how are you feeling? Are you going to brave the pregnancy thread with me?!

Lots of sparkly pink & blue babydust.

  • Hello everyone

Been a while since I posted but I have been lurking;)

Can I ask you a few questions coz I'm still clueless on this getting pg malarky, why can't it just happen by accident as it seems to for the 18yr olds of the family!?!?! Yep I'm from a v.classy family:rotfl:

Anyway....questions.......Well, I've been feeling out of sorts and the past couple of days had this weird taste in my mouth, bit like blood but also a guggy, icky taste too. Also last night DH touched my boobs (TMI?:o ) and they were quite sore as though AF was due (which she isn't!)

How early on do these symptoms happen??? And what other symptoms should I look out for?
I'm not sure if I am pg or my head it taking over and making it all up:confused:

I know I could do a test but tbh I'd be gutted if it was negative so until I have/don't have more symptoms the tests are staying put on the shelves in boots:p

    Thanks girls x

Just wondered if I would be ok to join in with you guys? I have finally convinced OH to try for another baby (we already have DS who is 4 now) and after months of working on him, he agreed this week :j

Only one question at the moment although may be a bit of a dumb one :o Was tryng to read through the thread (not all obv. as that would be like reading a novel) but kept seeing abbreviations like AF etc and wondered what they meant? :rotfl: apologies if is blatently obvious, am still waking up!

Good luck to all waiting on results etc.

    xx
