Hi all, sorry to hear AF has started Cedrickerry. I dont know about you but I honestly did not think it would be this hard to fall PG!! I am still on the 2WW, not noticed any particular symptoms other than sore boobs but I seem to get that quite a lot.
Got horrible toothache at the moment too (ha im surprised I havent convinced myself thats a pg symptom!!), they have given me Amoxicillin until my appointment later this week. I read the paperwork but it doesnt say anything about not taking if pg so thats good. Just slightly worried she may want to do an xray and Im sure last time she asked if I was pg. I am prob not but you never know do you!! Guess I will just explain and see what she says.Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -

Hello All,
Well, after 7 yrs together me and OH have agreed to start trying!!!!!!! I had mca few yrs ago (was unplanned). We have decided to not start a new packet of pills . The only thing that has stopped me is, can we afford it?? will we cope?? what about if we lose our jobs?? but having a very sensible friend told me that I am just worrying and that there will never be a right time.SO.................. were officially trying, I am nervous but excited I really want to be a mummy and OH has been ready for a while!

Morning all and a warm welcome to daisychain90, you are very welcome here, good luck and lets hope you can move over to the pregnancy thread very soon.
Well this month is over for me AF arrived this morning and i am stupidly upset! Last night i warned my OH that i may get moody as my AF was due and he shouted "don't be stupid you aren't going to have one!" So this morning he was disappointed too, which doesn't help as it makes me cry more! (yes i have cried this am!) Oh well another month of trying and lots of bding! OH says we can try doubly hard this monthHe is lovely and i am very lucky.
I agree totally with fattybooboo, i hoped it would not be this difficult to get pg, but here i am on TTC - cycle 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right well, good luck to everyone and i hope that your af does not show up nunny and that you are in fact preg! I will keep everything crossed for you.
Have a great relaxing holiday cedrickerry and lets hope we see you back here all refreshed and happy

Aw leopardlady (((hugs))) I get all teary when AF comes and I think she's not going to. Sounds like you've got a good hubby there!!
Woke up this morning feeling like rubbish and I'm getting cramps, so I reckon my body is playing tricks on me as I bled for 4 days 2 weeks ago and I haven't ov'd yet this month (Not that I would know this early anyway)
Going to get a test today (going to ask my SIL to get me one from work) and try in the morning. If it's a BFN then it'll be off to the docs to find out what is wrong, I am sick of feeling like carp!
Welcome Daisychain!! Theer's always room for another TTC!
I agree with your friend, there is never a right time to have a child, but it will be a great time when it happens!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Thank you for the warm welcome ladies, I hardly slept a wink last night! My mind was whizzing from "OH MY GOD" to thinking of names lol, and it hasn't even happened yet . The only thing is that I find myself stupidly impatient now we have made the decision I want it NOW although I know it can take a while.
Just want to thank you ladies for this thread as it's shows the realitys of the ups and down that you all have been through which gives a great on how to cope and view and that so many people can relate to. I hope to read all of it evetually as I know absoloutly zilch about what to look out for/best times and just general oblivious to all things to do with trying(apart from the obvious lol)/getting and having a child so I think I better crack on and me a start............

Hi daisy.
I don't post often on this thread but I read it everyday (I post mainly on the trying for 12m+ thread)
I think *my* best advice for a newbie TTCer would be to just try for a few months without the stress and pressure of temp charting, peeing on ov sticks, looking for signs etc etc
It can get obsessive and stressful so MO would be to just let nature take its course for a while...unless of course you are an older lady and time isn't on your side. (that's not meant to offend, I'm older so worry about the clock ticking)
Best of luck:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Thank you again, and Shelly thanks for the info, although I have had to go to the abbrev board to see what all of these AF+bfp's business means, I think that I am just nervous but excited at the thought. I wouldn't know where to start with temp monitering and SS I think I will "see how it goes" although I can imagine thats harder than it sounds. I will be reading this every day for support as well as learning a whole heap of things I didn't know about TTC but I am more than sure that it will be worth everything when it does happen.
Good luck to you and all who are in the same boat I hope to see lots of "mummywannabe's" turn into "mummygonnabe's" xxxxxDFW AND OS'ER IN TRAINING!!:D
