    Thanks leopardlady

Going to test on Friday as that will be another three days

Was awoken at 7 this morning feeling really sick, thats why I am on here so early.

No more blood though, thank god. I've really got my fingers crossed now!

As far as I can gather, small amounts of bleeding could be related to implantation (either initial or further) so it might take a few days for the levels of hormone to rise for a BFP.
  • Hello everyone, have been reading your posts for some time now and wondered if anyone can offer me some advice please.

OH and I are not exactly TTC but decided that I would stop taking my pill which I did last July and leave it a few months for my periods to return to normal and see what happens. Everything going ok, periods regular 28 days.

My AF was due 9/10th Feb and it hasn't arrived. Did a test last Thursday and got a very faint possitive. Did one Friday morning again very faint possitive. Thing is all the ones I have taken since then are negative but still no AF. Am so confused don't know what is happening

Mrs Berts were the tests you did after the positives the same type? Some tests are more sensitive than others.

Argh!!!!! Just had some bleeding, almost same time my bleeding started when I had my last mc, I don't want to have another mc, it just seems inevitable now and so annoying. I'm angry and want to go home so I can let it all out but just have to sit at work and look normal. Also I know I can't confirm it for a few weeks as well which is such a waste of time. Not sure whether to go to the docs and do all the usual registering the pregnancy (in which case it's really annoying when you have to cancel everything afterwards) or just wait then go to the hospital in a week and have the mc confirmed or just not do anything as I didn't need any intervention last time.

  • oh no jenny, please try to relax

It may not be mc it is quite normal to bleed in early pregnancy, I bled quite a bit with my dd and cried my eyes out every time but she stuck and is 10 now!!
Can you get to an epu just to get checked out, don't worry about work just tell them you are feeling sick and are going home.

Please don't sit there and suffer in silence.

    lots of hugs

Thanks Pookie but I think it's too early for the epu to see anything, I'm 6 weeks today.

  • Jennynoo the two possitive tests were from boots and I've done some other ones too. Also done more boots ones and they were negative so that doesn't explain it either.

Hope you are ok, take care

If you think there is something wrong and you have had a mc previously they should get you in, 6 weeks is fine, there should be something to see (possible a lot to see) and they will check it is in the right place etc, even if it turned out to be a bit early to see more than a sac or sac+yolk. They told me that want me in for an early scan at about 6 weeks as I had a blighted ovum previously. I would give them a call anyway, if there is bleeding they will get you scanned.

Jenny please try and relax. It prob is nothing and stressing will not help you. If you do get worried then surely at least going to a doc or the epu would at least put your mind at ease.

Nunny you should try and hold out until the weekend before testing again, you may still get the BFP as your AF has not arrived yet.

My fingers are crossed for you two.

Welcome Berts Mrs, sounds like you may have to wait a few days and test again, also try and test early in the morning as this is when everything is stronger.

See if you can get some 10 miu ones- ebay has them and they will send you them for the next day usually in a plain envelope, think the seller is called fertility plan that I get them from. They are higher sensitivity that the ones you get from shops, they are usually about 20 miu or 25 miu I think.

Just because they are cheap doesn't mean they don't work, they are based on the same principles as the expensive ones just without all the packaging and plastic (and you have to pee in a pot :D , but i tend to pee in a pot for the other type too to make sure I do it properly as they can be quite expensive!)
