Trying For a Baby II

I started to bleed this time at 5+3, and my doctor booked me in for a scan at 6+2 which showed a healthy baby and heartbeat. Whilst you aren't guaranteed to see the heartbeat at 6weeks, as it depends on how many dpo you are, you often can. I would recommend that you do try and get a scan for your own peace of mind. As others have said, bleeding in early pregnancy isn't uncommon, and everything may well be OK.0

lizzibell*80 and leopardlady thanks for the replies and the welcome. Think I will wait until the weekend and see what happens (easier said than done) and try another test.
Will have a look on ebay and see if I can get one of the more sensitive ones0 -
Thanks all for you comments, I think I will go home tonight and read all the stuff the doctor gave me last time and see if there is any advice in there. I'm thinking that I might pop into the epu, it's a bit annoying though because I have to take time off work and there is always a huge queue so it takes hours.

Jennynoo I am keeping my fingers (and toes;)) crossed for you. I'm sure it must be worse having been through it before but hang in there - as you know I've been having some bleeding too but its on and off and I'm trying to take comfort from the fact that so many people seem to experience it and still go on to have healthy pregnancies. Thanks Vicstar. It's just so similar to last time that I think it will be the same thing but mine was constant, not off and on like yours so I'm hopeful that you will fair better than I did.

Jenny, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you too, try not to worry too much.
Well my af arrived this morning, so we'll just have to keep trying for now, it's disappointing but it was just our first month, now I'm just desperate for af to leave so we can start trying again!!!0 -
Oh Jennynoo, I know it is now too late in the day to say hang in there, but hopefully you are now out of work and can let it all out. I'll be thinking of you until we hear news. Fingers crossed!
Mrs Berts - welcome and I'll keep my finger crossed for you too.
Have I missed anybody? Sorry if I have, only just walked in and have only looked at newest page so far
We must all spend so much time hoping for each other!0 -
Jennynoo & vicstar, I really hope the bleeding stops & that everything is ok for you both. I know it's hard not to think the worst but try not to worry too much - either way what will be, will be so I guess you have to hope for the best & just try to enjoy being pregnant - easier said than done I'm sure! Jennynoo they should really give you an early scan, especially with your history, if you are really concerned badger them until they give in!
Nunnygirl & Berts Mrs I hope that you get the BFP that you want. The longer you can hold out before testing the more likely you will get the right result - says I who ended up testing every other day last month! I have to say I have been using the cheapy ebay 10miu tests & got a faint line last month which must have been an evaporation line or something as it turned out to be a BFN in the end. You can get problems with evaporation lines even with the more expensive tests though so I don't think they are any less accurate.
I'm on CD13 today & we are only BDing every other day as AF has only just finished  . No idea what has happened to my cycle!
I went for my appointment with the GP's counsellor today & it was for an emergency initial assessment. The assessment went fine, I've had counselling before several years ago so knew what to expect however I wasn't expecting the 5 month waiting list  . After finally getting to this counselling I have realised that I can pull myself back out of this black hole, again, with a decent counsellor's help. I'm not sure that I can wait 5 months though to even start the process! I don't think I can take feeling like this for a further 5 months. Private counselling is going to set me back about £40 an hour though & I don't know that I can justify/afford that amount of moneyNot sure what the answer is.

Morning all, Nickabella i hope you can find a solution, maybe you should see if the docs can refer you to another counsellor? Keep thinking positive and remember you can pull yourself out with help.
I am just having a quiet day, feeling very hot, which is very unlike me, i am a very cold blooded person, but hey ho!
I am hoping to continue with the every other day bding, OH seems ok with it, so lets see. CD17, (oh and i have a smear today - joy!).
Well sticky baby dust to all and hugs to all who need them.Leopardlady

Morning everyone, well I am resigning myself to the fact I might not be pregnant, I've been bleeding this morning again so I'm just going to wait and see now. I wish I'd either just bleed and have AF or not, not this inbetweeny stuff! :mad:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -
