Smoky - hope you dsoon feel better x(((hugs)))
choccie - Orange - hope your DS is over the shock and gets his teeth sorted ok x
Candy girl - I'm a partial veggie - no meat just an odd bit of fish. I gave meat up nearly a year ago and havent really missed it - its just a pain eating out as there's never much choice for veggies.
been carbooting this morning , got a great chillout cd for 50p then popped into Aldis to top up the cupboards.
This afternoon I've done the ironing, cleaned the kitchen floor, tidied up the garden after the dogs, put the rubbish out so deserve a break I think. Its a beautiful sunny afternoon here - 3 loads of washing done! last one nearly ready to go on the line.
Am looking forward to Strictly later.
have a lovely evening all x
edited to say - just rang my friend but she's still ill in bed and having the pains, will try and talk to her again later.Do what you love :happyhear0 -

OOOOOOOW!!!! - stop shouting!
I just got up
Last night was great but got off to a bad start. first I hated my costume and even after me and dd ripped it up and started again it was still very frumpy. I did have a very nice witchy hat though so dd suggested that if I looked in my wardrobe I would find at least 11 black gothy dresses - she was right. I went round to dd(19) for hair and make up which took three hours  and got a cab from there. as I was coming down the stairs two of her neighbours were comng up. One whispered to the other who agreed very loudly that yes I did look very much like a prostitute. I then got into my cab which was driven by possibly the worst cabbie in the world. He started off by asking what price i was quoted, disagreed with it and said he would check the mileage when we got there - check all you like mate but I'm paying the qutoed price! He then proceeded to get lost - a lot! we did the same two roundabouts five times. He had two tom-toms but was ignoring both of them but asking me to look out for road signs.
Eventually we reached the middle of a nasty industrial estate and he declared that we had reached our destination despite both tom-toms yelling at him to turn around and start again. I insisted on not being left in the middle of an industrial estate and so we started again. By this time I was on the phone to my mate as I was fairly scared. We made it and I carefully counted out the exact fare but i was shaking so much that only a very large voddy would do - well several in fact. He had the cheek to offer to pick me up later!
got home very early this morning to find that dd(23) had rather kindly left a kebab out for me which I microwaved and scoffed only to find out this morning, in a loud shouty hurty way, that she had been saving it for her brekkie.
Anniestar - please don't scream too loudly - I'm not quite recovered yetI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
'Whispers as to not hurt Stefejb's hangover'
Just popping in to say hello to all and that is it another beautiful sunny day here in Devon. I have just harvested another 2 peppers and a mountain of chillis which I intend to thread onto some cat gut and hang in the kitchen to dry out.
My Oh went to M & S and got two of the £10 deals as it was the last day and I had two vouchers to spend. So we now have two plump chickens in the freezer and some great sticky toffee pudds and my fave frissante (sp) wine! Thanks to all those boring surveys, we have free food - you can't beat it!!
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Afternoon all,
Choc.orange...your poor DS...glad the they have the culprits, hope that the dentist can do repair work.
Squiggly....what gave you the idea that Anniestar might be excited...that her normal way...is it not Annie??
Can sympathise with the mothers of untidy daughters...my two eldest always treated their rooms as dumping grounds...now that they have houses of their own everything is shipshape and Bristol fashion...
Luca is not our favourite cat to-day...he stole the nice piece of steak I had taken out of the fridge to allow it come to room temperature before marinading it for cooking on BBQ...it had been all over the gravel and I wasn't sure how much he had messed with it so he now owes me the €67 lunch cost! Would have dragged something out of the freezer for me and family but need to keep Ulick properly fed at the moment...he's not in great humour and doesn't take too kindly to emergency meals at the best of times...he is not happy that at present he is having to go for blood tests 3 times a week.
Looking forward to a 2 day visit from my cousin from Harlow and her husband...they arrive to-morrow and go again on Wednesday so will be 2 late nights no doubt...must make something with which to feed them.
Smoky...please take care of you, decorating, tidying etc can all wait until you feel better
Hugs to all in need or want and congratulations to those who are celebrating
