    Morning all,
Up early as DH set the alarm for 5am to watch GP, I was already awake so got up and did some sewing, I'm making cushions out of some pillows that have seen better days.
BM just pinged, no washing to do as I emptied the basket y/day but loads of ironing.
Cooked bolognaise y/day so that's dinner sorted. Might make an apple cake later.
Hope you all have a good day.

    Morning all

Don't often get on here on Sundays, but I have to work today, so no car boot.

I enjoyed Strictly last night, and think Jessie Wallace will go. I think the girls are really starting to give the men a run for their money, and whereas I thought one of the guys would win, I'm not sure now. I am fairly sure that John Sargeant won't last long which is a shame, as he is lovely.

Watched the X Factor, and can't for the life of me understand why the judges picked some of the songs - I don't know anything about the music business, but they were awful :p

Was looking on the Internet for the name of an actor, and came across someone I knew 35 years ago, he is an actor and occasionally turns up on the TV. I sent him an email, and he replied, so it was nice to catch up.

Going to have a mooch around the forums, and then had better make some sandwiches for lunch - corned beef and home-grown beetroot.

Have a good Sunday everyone x

    Morning :hello:

We're going to a christening later. They asked mr troo to be a godparent so I had a search about to see if there's some sort of etiquette for gifts from godparents but couldn't find much so we bought this, very cute :D

I forget to buy wrapping paper though, so I'll use Word to design something and print it.

We grew some jalapeno peppers in the kitchen - mr troo loves hot food, his fave sauce is Insanity Sauce, made from jalapenos - he tasted one the other day and it nearly blew his head off :rotfl:

Squiggly, miss troo is 17 and her room is exactly the same  Tomorrow, I might go in there wearing a radiation suit and sort it out. I'll probably find some of my missing things while I'm in there

  • Morning from a frosty, foggy and cold Nottingham, the sun is trying to get thro though.

Well its one of these days here
DS(18) Went t a friends 18th party last night. He ended up getting a thump in the mouth and all his front teeth are broken :( We had to go to A + E to get painkillers, not my idea of a fun Saturday evening. We finally crawled into bed at 4am only to be woken by the police officer dealing with my sons attack. So now i am sat drinking coffee in a mad attempt to wake up before we have to go to police station then the emergency dentist :(

Back later today to see how everyones sunday is going

OS went out the window, using economy7 cheap electric anyway :(

Hugs to those who need them

    Good Morning All

    (((hugs))) for your DS Choc-orange.

Had a slow start this morning as yesterday was exhausting. Game was good but coming out and trying to get in the tube station with 89000 other people is not fun.

Need to get a move on, DS needs to be at football in half an hour, washing is now mountain state and need to get veg prepared for dinner as we need to have it lunch time. Will make some bread for tea tonight.

So laundry is probably all I will do today.

    Have a great Sunday.

Celyn did you get your dissertation in? Hope you get some sleep soon.

It's foggy here and all the washing is still out on the line, oh well.
Dinner is leg of pork cooked in the SC with cider. Need to prep my moussaka for tomorrow as well. Then it's the usual ironing, helping DS with homework and taking him swimming. Would love a weekend where I can just do b****r all.

morning everyone. lovely day here. should manage to get some more washing line dried. got some done yesterday but as always the basket has filled again as if by magic.
took dog a lovely walk yesterday to a place where there are lots of rabbit warrens. as part terrier it was doggie heaven as she had a fab time sniffing around the holes :) fortunately for the rabbits they were nowhere to be seen.
today just heading off to Asda. need to stock up enough for the week as I am working full time this week. Now that DS has gone to uni finding it difficult to get buying for three right, especially when he probably ate half of what I bought previously.

hope everyone has a good day :)
