Hi gang, haven't read anything yet but will do after some much needed sleep.
Well what a journey :eek: _pale_ _pale_ _pale_ Cross nightmare with dreadful, awful, bad (you get the idea) First "problem"was H-(formerly DH:rotfl: ) who was in a VERY grumpy mood(although he denied this)he was "having a go" before we left home, then in ASDA car park(we needed oil) then he said "did you pick up the directions?" er WHAT directions??????? (still in ASDA less than 10 mins from home) so he decideds we are not going back for them. So off we go down A57 to Warrington, a L-O-N-G- way down M6 all the time he was going on and on and on........... So then he decides that "I am over ruling you on this and off we come near Stoke?????????????? Of course its NOT signed for Leicester(why would it be? ) so end up back on M6. And on-and on................................You would NOT believe some of the things that were said to me. Not nice.
Anyway, we get to the M69(which is where I thought we should be) and thank God it was signed for Leicester:j Then we couldn't find the De Montford Hall. Asked someone and (eventually) found it
I went in and had a fantastic time and I must say how impressed I was with the staff who were lovely and gave me fantastic directions for the return journey.
    The gig was great.
Came out and H was waiting for me get back to the car park(very safe as you book a car park ticket when you book for the show) and we were blocked in by a broken down car:confused: Old ranting Jack welcomed the opportunity to rant on.... Me? Well I never can hear very much after a concert as I am ALWAYS at the front and hence VERY near the speakers so just let him go off(or rather carry on ) So we get out and the directions were fab.
M6 very late at night:eek: Very busy and loads of roadworks going on.
Get home at 2.34 Not speaking(well he is still ranting-me I'm thinking about Birminghan:rotfl: ) and just as he was going to bed I asked him something he didn't like so then a full scale row commenced. Aw well.
Had to be up early this morning had a few things that couldn't be re arranged and also needed to go to tesco.
    BUT....................One good bit of news DRUM ROLL PLEASE.........I have found my shoes:j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
Blairweetch was 100% bang on they were in the car:o :o:o:obut in the boot under ranting Jacks stuff:confused: "oh I must have moved them when I gave that man a lift"
I feel awful -really tired but at least I have 4 more concerts to look forward to.
    I'm really sorry for the moan/rant but i really needed it!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for listening:A :A
HUGS to everyone-I will do a proper post later(or tomorrow)
I hope everyone is having a better, less kn@cker*d day. Take care.
By the way has anyone ever tried to climb up a (fixed)ladder in heels?? If so any ideas would be warmly welcomed!
Take care, See you later. Ann xxxx

    Hi all,
many thanks for the thumbs up at me standing in a hole for over 3hrs, I feel quite humbled yet proud. SQUIGGLY, I remember that program, his name was WOOLFIE yet his GF's Mum used to call him FOXIE, yes, Come the revolution!!
Can't remember the name of the series, I loved it.

TROO, I wouldn't let DH contact the papers re my protest because, when we had the revolt against the Poll Tax I had a decorating table (covered in a white sheet) collecting signitures in the high st. Only after spending a whole day protesting and getting quite a bit of Media coverage did I discover that DH had paid my Poll Tax. One was not amused.

CHRISCA, the Plonker who had x marked the spot was the same man who came out to oversee the problem, I had noticed a yellow sprayed X mark on the pavement but assumed it was something to do with utility repairs.

SHEZ, If your thinking of doing similar make sure you take a packed lunch! I did however get to read the newspaper.

Stuffed marrow cooked and smelling delish, I made a sort of bolignaise out of the YS mince to stuff the marrow and with the rest I turned into a chilli.
Went and bought some material to make cushions for last bedroom makeover and popped into a discount shop. They were selling those smelly things to hang in the car, £2 for 10 so got them and put some in the gap in the double radiators, the house smells of lavender and vanilla. I won't use the plug in freshners as it uses lecy. Cheap way to freshen the place.

Just had a call from DD2, she was told by a friend that her Mum, was seen standing in a hole. Was it true and if so why, she often thinks I'm going senille, sp. Now she knows.

DH went to Drs. y/day (first day he could legally drive) to get more medication. He was fine when he left but he came home with a blood vessel burst in his eye, all of the white bit was bright red, keeps happening but don't know why.
Anyway DFriends, I have Moliered more than DMoliere. Hope you're enjoying the w/end.

    Evening All

Not been posting here much this week, just lurking. My moneysaving has resulted in just not spending. Still looking for a second job to help with the cost of the flat. Getting very worried now.

Done all my daily clicks and surveys. Onepoll's getting close to pay out now, just need a few more surveys from them....

Mum and I went tile shopping for the flat - ended up finding what I wanted online. Also went to the farm shop and got a rabbit for tomorrow night's dinner.

Tonight we're either having pizza or sausages. Not sure yet.

Just settling down to watch Strictly Come Dancing then I'll make an apple crumble.

    Hope everyone's ok

    Evening all,

So glad I waited until now...I'd have missed your post otherwise...trust that RJ has now got a sore throat or whatever will stop him...god love them men are not great copers are they??

Jet....sincere congratulations, you are wonderful, would love to do a jump myself but haven't got the bottle

Beth...well done you! If more people adopted your attitude things in general might be a bit better for all.

    BSB...happy anniversary

Ulick has gone to a football match with DS3....DS2 is playing, hope that he doesn't find it too cold, but good for him to get out with the boys....he never usually goes anywhere if I am not going.

Feels as if it will be frosty here to-night...must get the rest of my geraniums inside.

Hugs to all and congratulations to all who are celebrating

Evening everyone boy I'm late today!!
Beth I think I'll book you up now for my local council battles before anyone else grabs you ;):D that gave me such a laugh especially the thought of you sat in the hole munching cake :rotfl: Very O/S :T

Had a much happier day today (was really peed off yesterday) took DS3 to his first 'proper' birthday party today :j :j he's almost 10 !!

It was for one of the boys at his new special school and all the other kiddies were Autistic too and it was wonderful, brought many a choked, teary smile from all the parents (we all stayed just in case...) for many of them it was their first party too :(

Very funny moments as they all have their own little ways,it was definately different but in a really positive way and all the kids and the parents had a whale of a time :D
Hope everyone else has had a great day and all those poorly feel better soon

I have no real memory. Sometimes it feels like I gave birth to my brain too when I had my son! I have a friend who used to live in Tooting and he had a t-shirt to go with the programme, :rotfl:

I used to live in London too, but it was a long time ago.

    Back again,
Called in at Lidl this morning and managed to get the last energy saving monitor. Just got to figure out how to use it now
