  • Just seen this link on the Moneysupermarket forum http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/Icesave-Help/#detail
The only problem is it doesn't ask for an accelerated payment and is not worded strongly enough. We need a petition with a better wording.
There are also at least 2 groups on Facebook if you search in the box for Icesave.
Maybe news today but if not this could be a way of having our say, i.e. petitions and facebook plus letters to MPs etc.

I agree, that petition was a total waste of time and was only asking for what Alistair Darling has already guaranteed. I am going to wait until this evening and if nothing heard of any significance my MP will be getting a letter

We DON'T need another ludicrous petition asking for the money back when we have already been told we are going to get it. Here is the previous petition.

Just been on FSCS website, did a search for icesave on the database of firms in default. The answer came back. Sorry there are no firms listed (in default) for icesave. Same result for landesbanki.
Am I missing something? (I know about my missing money)
This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !
