Can't get into my bloody Icesave account again. I've already reset the password once and I'm getting p*ssed off with it rejecting my login details.

Edit: still can't get access with a reset password. Anyone else having problems again?

No problems accessing our accounts, since all funds were re-instated last Thursday!

Looking very unlikely. It seems most likely that we will all be sent forms to complete and will then have a wait of a couple of months to get our money.

a waiting game -i still have to say that I am disapointed that Martin has not come out to discuss this for us -after all he is a journalist -we need to keep this psot alive as i am sure the announcement today will be negative .
  • Hi, am waiting for update today too. Amongst those who transferred out about 34K just before the freeze on tuesday only to have it put back in the account on thursday. We are due to complete on a house soon so the sooner the better for us! Fingers crossed

that is terrible for you and that large amount of £ too --I am beginnig to think now tha this is one of those famous Brown pledges that never materialise i.e.lies

clearly the matter of interest is an issue, especially for those who have placed large deposits in Icebank (more than just a few £ thousands).
…in your opinion. I have a five figure sum locked up with Icesave so I think, by your definition, that puts me in your “large deposits” category. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything - there's no right or wrong with opinions, only different. However, maybe your statement is a bit of sweeping generalisation because clearly it isn't the view of everyone with a "large deposit"?

Personally, and I use that word deliberately, my objective is to get my money back. By “my money” I mean my original deposit. Under the circumstances, interest would be a bonus.

Maybe it’s a matter of your glass being half full or half empty.

I like you have been thinking the same for some time now, between my husband and my self we have three accounts (two Isas), about £33,000, and are at an age where there is no way we can replace the money if we don't get it back.

I have to say that as time goes on with no updates I am far more concerned than I was last week, I don't care how long it take to come back as long as it does.

If we do not see new information today we will write to our MP over the weekend.
