I'm afraid that I havnt been listing too much this week.
I have 10 items on at the moment, and will list another 5 tonight.
I am going to stop listing on ebay next friday - 28th, and will then list on Amazon until the end of the year.

I have found this challenge hard going - I think I need a tougher skin!

    cheers, LHB

    LHB,

Completely agree with you. This has got to the hardest challenge I have ever done. If I had done more selling a couple of years ago I would have really enjoyed it and got rid of the stuff but I didn't and now with all the rule changes and the fee increases, it is no longer a joy to sell on eBay but where else to go?

I might even finish this Thursday for eBay and then move onto Amazon and GreenMet for books. I'm just a little short of £50 in Paypal and don't want to pay anything to get it out but that means selling something.

Just getting on with paperwork - bills and the like and will then organise some bits for listing on Thursday.

just thinking about getting around paypal.

If i make a payment to a friend or family member, then they withdraw the cash and give it to me, then i can get it instantly???
    seems like an option?
  • My 'listathon' didn't go quite as planned. Spent a few hours procrastinating then listed 5 new items and some relists.

Lexxx, could you use Paypal postage to post your items?

    Hey

Well not had any luck listing any new items am totally down about everything at the moment and the last thing i feel like doing is sitting trying to put things on ebay.

I know i need the money but am really struggling to find the motivation to do anything at the moment.

Hope everyone else is having more luck

I want to start again from this week so am going to try and list one item a day to see if i can start to enjoy this again!

    Ah Buddiebabe,

Get yourself a decent night's sleep - eBay won't seem as bad tomorrow (hopefully). I'm down in the dumps too - it always seems a great idea to take over your living room with stuff to sell, thinking that if it is out you have to deal with it...I still haven't dealt with it and I really, really do need to.

Will be back on Tuesday/Wednesday, trying to get motivated for Thursday listings.

I finally received the cheque for some dvds I sold ages ago! The buyer sent it to my mum's, so my mum forwarded it ages ago and it's finally arrived. (The cheque has 10/11/08 date on it. Over 2 weeks!) Atleast I can say bye bye to one more item.

I also have a bid on one of my items I listed on Sunday :D And here's me thinking none of them would sell lol.
