I have 10 items on at the moment, and will list another 5 tonight.
I am going to stop listing on ebay next friday - 28th, and will then list on Amazon until the end of the year.
I have found this challenge hard going - I think I need a tougher skin!
cheers, LHB
LHB,
Completely agree with you. This has got to the hardest challenge I have ever done. If I had done more selling a couple of years ago I would have really enjoyed it and got rid of the stuff but I didn't and now with all the rule changes and the fee increases, it is no longer a joy to sell on eBay but where else to go?
I might even finish this Thursday for eBay and then move onto Amazon and GreenMet for books. I'm just a little short of £50 in Paypal and don't want to pay anything to get it out but that means selling something.
Just getting on with paperwork - bills and the like and will then organise some bits for listing on Thursday.

just thinking about getting around paypal.
If i make a payment to a friend or family member, then they withdraw the cash and give it to me, then i can get it instantly???
seems like an option?0 -
My 'listathon' didn't go quite as planned. Spent a few hours procrastinating then listed 5 new items and some relists.
Lexxx, could you use Paypal postage to post your items?0 -

Hey
Well not had any luck listing any new items am totally down about everything at the moment and the last thing i feel like doing is sitting trying to put things on ebay.
I know i need the money but am really struggling to find the motivation to do anything at the moment.
Hope everyone else is having more luck
I want to start again from this week so am going to try and list one item a day to see if i can start to enjoy this again!

Ah Buddiebabe,
Get yourself a decent night's sleep - eBay won't seem as bad tomorrow (hopefully). I'm down in the dumps too - it always seems a great idea to take over your living room with stuff to sell, thinking that if it is out you have to deal with it...I still haven't dealt with it and I really, really do need to.
Will be back on Tuesday/Wednesday, trying to get motivated for Thursday listings.

Almost getting use to playing musical rooms with all my ebay stuff:p they get moved around when people come by, or when i think i want to keep it etc...
i have sold about 35/40 items and made nearly £100 quid
that will be going towards my fuel bills this winter, :T0 -
Thanks Lexxx for the motivational boost!
Will organise everything tomorrow and get listings ready.
Well done on your sales - wow 35 items going out of your house; I'm jealous :T

:j sent out 15 items in the last 2 days
whooopeeeee, space!!!!
i am truely thiinking of putting my biiiiiiiiiiig oversize wardrobe on ebay after xmas, i dont need it,i i have a closet!!!!
When i brought it, my daughter did this:rolleyes2 and asked me what i was going to fill it with, my clothes use to rattle around in it, not anymore!
But getting rid off stuff, is getting really addictive, I live in such a small house, IT NEEDS TO GO!!!
Thinking it would be nice for my bedroom to be my bedroom again:T0 -
I finally received the cheque for some dvds I sold ages ago! The buyer sent it to my mum's, so my mum forwarded it ages ago and it's finally arrived. (The cheque has 10/11/08 date on it. Over 2 weeks!) Atleast I can say bye bye to one more item.
I also have a bid on one of my items I listed on SundayAnd here's me thinking none of them would sell lol.
