eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

I'm getting fed up with up ebay. Buyers are doing my head in.
One's saying they haven't received the item.
One sent a cheque to the wrong address, even though I emailed the proper one an hour after the item ended, on a Sunday evening. My mum forwarded it, so now it's taking ages to get here, she sent it last Tuesday!
Another ebayer hasn't paid for the dress yet. It's 2 days after the auction ended and I'm impatient waiting for her to pay, and she hasn't been in touch. I think she might not pay.0 -

Oooh baby! Congratulations. Baby clothes go well once the little one has grown out of them (unless of course you are having another one and want to keep the stuff!)
Welcome back.

Wow Floxxie!! Can't believe it - you must have a very big house!!! I think I need to get my finger out. To tell the truth - I would be really impressed with myself if I made £400 in a year, and I'm sure that I could do that quite easily if I just got on with it. Can I just ask what MBing is??!!
Also - well done to everyone else who has made money - I am really impressed with the amounts. Starting to feel motivated...
Well Lexxx and cazzab (I think) I live in a large house that we picked up for a bargain at the time the Iraq war kicked off. People think we are rich - ha, ha little do they know! The downside is that it is a new build so is not very solid. Am wondering what might happen if I do get rid of all the stuff - maybe the walls will collapse? :rotfl:
MBing is match betting - it took me 15 months to pluck up the courage to do my first 'bet'. Now I realise I have wasted lots of time not doing it. Details of how to on the Gambling board (although if done correctly it is not gambling but don't go near if you have a gambling problem pls).
And Lexxx you would ahve to put up with vintage husband who was attending gigs at the time I was starting school!
Think we have some newbies but too tired to work out who so if your name isn't on the first page please PM me and I shall add you (but not tomorrow - in hospital again for op)
Boo to buyers too! I have two that still have not paud. They have ratings of over 250 but no payment or message yet.

Thanks buddiebabe,
Op didn't happen - I was there at 7.30am and gave them to 6pm to sort it out. Needless to say, it didn't happen so I left.
I'm just waiting for one buyer now - trying to ignore it tonight and will get some sleep and deal with tomorrow..along with the listings that I should have prepared by now but haven't.

I have just listed 93 vintage ladybird books lol :j
So that takes me from the 18th to part way through the 27th November (7 items left) from me picking up the challenge.Oooh baby! Congratulations. Baby clothes go well once the little one has grown out of them (unless of course you are having another one and want to keep the stuff!)
My little girl is rapidly growing out of her 0-3m clothes @ 5 weeks  so I guess tackling them will be next!!

I got paid for my dress now!
I really should list more items lol. I haven't recently, as I've actually had a job (voluntary), so I haven't been a lazy bum, being in the house all day lol.0 -
I have been steadily listing my stuff, still well on top of my 2-a-week target. Just sold something a few minutes ago so that should be another £4.22 into paypal0

Sharon87, good to hear you got paid for your dress in the the end. Sometimes people just mess around with paying and it gets us all worried!
nicky1312, I had a look at your auctions and wanted to make a suggestion: put a bit more detail in the titles, e.g. colour, size, style, condition if new... that way buyers will be more likely to find them in searches.
DebtBgone, congrats on getting 71 items listed! How are the photos going? I found out that this is what takes me the most time. (But then, I do crop, watermark and occasionaly remove the background, rotate and adjust the colours on mine...)
Sorry to hear about your 1p t-shirt buyer nightmare... what an idiot!
I haven't listed anything since last Thursday so am planning to rectify that, starting tonight, to get a load listed on Sunday, ending on the Sunday after payday (which has worked well in the past)
Most of my troublesome buyers seem to have worked out ok, the person wanted increasingly discounted postage was happy with the items in the end, and left positive feedback. And I even left positives for her too! I considered not, but then I thought... well, I could have just said no to her request. While her communication was maybe a bit cheeky, it wasn't rude, and she paid on time and let me know the goods had arrived...
The person who complained about the gloves said they'd have a go at repairing them, and didn't want to return them (just wanted to mention the fault, which appeared after the gloves had been worn...). Am guessing the damage wasn't quite as extensive as they'd made it out to be after all
The missing dress arrived, the postman had given it to the buyer's neighbour and the neigbour forgot to give it to the buyer for a few days.
My zero feedback French bidder paid on the last day before I could have filed a non-payment strike! They paid for all the 4 items separately even though I sent a combined invoice. They have paid more money this way. I'm not sure whether to refund and send a new invoice (might not get my money at all then!) or just send the items together and use the extra £ to pay for Airsure. But the buyer would still be paying over the odds for postage. I could just send a random partial refund but not sure the buyer would know what's going on if I did this.
I have tried to contact the buyer a few times with no response. Maybe they just don't speak English, so me trying to communicate further is just wasting time...
I sold a scarf a got free with a magazine a few years ago for £25+ last night  and have sold 85 items in total since I started the challenge:j so I really hope it continues like this.
I'm planning to stop ebaying a week or two before xmas. Can't be doing with the disorganised panicked buyers, and missing parcels.

Hello everybody,
Just a quick drop in to catch up with everyone. I'm in shock as have just realised that we are nearly in December
I have failed miserably this week - partly down to hospital visit and also OH has been away for the last two days so I haven't even got the normal housework things done by 11.30. I have no idea how single parents cope!
GeologyRocks, I used to use a site when dealing with foreign buyers I think it was called. https://www.freetranslation.com . I don't think it is perfect but gets the jist over the to the buyer.
I've also got to make a decision as to when I should stop listing as the ad-hoc holiday has been booked for the 14th to the 18th December. Now panicking as I don't feel I have enought time to organise packing let alone anything else!
Pleased to hear that most problems have been sorted for people. I'm still waiting for one buyer. She has 1 more day and then it will be an unpaid item.
Will pop in over the weekend. Going to have a major listing day on Sunday (honest!). Still hoping that there will be another cheap listing day soon...
hayley-Jayne: just found your diary. I can't believe how big your daughter was :eek:No wonder she is growing out of 0-3 months. My friend's who have girls have found that if they list one or two items rather than a bundle they do better, especially if they are pretty dresses. My boy stuff has done really badly - one had 40 items in and went for £1.99. Not good but at least they are going to be used again.
Oops, looks like I have GeologyRock's essay writing bug!
Catch up soon, We're nearly there...
