eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

Right, I might get ebaying again. I'm moving out of my house share into a smallish flat for 3 months until we get a more permanent place. I need to sell some items, so I don't clutter up the place, and also so we won't have to rent as much space at storage places. Even little things would help clear up some space.

I've got loads of mini Mini's lol. I might sell some of them, as at the moment, they're tucked away in the shed. I might try to sell some old computer parts. My old computer broke and I took everything out of the tower apart from the motherboard! lol. I've sold a hard drive and a PSU and gave my cd drives to my brother. Now it's just the little bits!

Had my op two weeks ago today, came out the next day bf was off for 3 days then my parents came up for 6 days.

Still having a few pains where my gall bladder was but hopefully it's just it healing up and not because I've had to lift my 6.5 month old baby a few times and strained it.

I've got 34 things listed on my Personal Ebay ID, and will be adding more over the next week or so, have so much stuff. I've got two bids on two items, just want to get rid of stuff.

My Business ID has 84 things on but it's going slow am only selling a few of the low priced items, I'm aiming to try and sell all my stock before the end of the Tax year so I can start again from April, I'm fed up of the stuff I'm selling at the moment and I need to get a better spreadsheet and get more organised with my record keeping.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far, we are off shopping this afternoon if we can get tidied up and out the door, 3 and 4 year olds are running amock and trashing the house with all their mess.

Another game listed on ebay this morn... which brings my total to six items listed thiss week. Four sold, two with watchers so I hope they sell soon

Thank you, I was thinking of selling some books (paperback), but they don't go for much, so it's not worth it! So I've packed them all in a plastic box, so I can read the ones I haven't read when I've moved!

Me and my brother just borrorowed over a grand from our mum to pay for the rent as it's a 3 month short let, and you have to pay the rent up front! £2,500 almost it's costing us! Atleast the bills are included Well except my brother's Sky and BT.

I've just got a few boxes out the shed and found a few things I could sell

Welcome back tmd - it's hard to recover quickly whne you have the children to look after, however I'm sure you are feeling so much better already.

Sharon87 when are you moving? At least you can sort through things as you are packing. I could not imagine moving with all the stuff I have!

OH has decided he wants as ipod classic for Xmas - how much???!! so I now need to raise the £100 that is outstanding on the holiday and the £160ish for his pressie in the next couple of weeks. Again I have been left with kiddies so I am hoping I shall be able to get some listings ready for tomorrow. Some things have been sitting there for so long, they are covered in dust - ooops.

I'm listing 4 things on ebay tomorrow, I've just done the photos and description for them. They're mostly different types of playing cards lol and a Jack Daniels luggage tag I got free! They sell for about a quid, sometimes more as well!

evening! managed to list 7 items tonight. 3 just finished with no bidders so will lower the price and try again.

WHY is it that when you make a payment by paypal to someone they get it in an instant, but when you make a payment to yourself, to your own bank account, it can take 3/4 working days!!!!:mad:

got a few things to send out & no money to send them, apart from in my paypal account, that really is rubbish!!

I'm afraid that I havnt been listing too much this week.
I have 10 items on at the moment, and will list another 5 tonight.
I am going to stop listing on ebay next friday - 28th, and will then list on Amazon until the end of the year.

I have found this challenge hard going - I think I need a tougher skin! :shocked:

I know it is stupid. Paypal is annoying.

I've listed 4 more items today, they're stuff that can be given as xmas pressies so hopefullt they'll sell. The prices are also really low, from 50p to 75p!
