Have any of you had this before - one bidder has bid on the same item of mine 3 !!! times - all at the same price of 99p. Why is she doing it, and how???0

Its not the same price they are bidding, they are increasing their bid. Its a good thingNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

They are probably just upping their bid in case someone else outbids them. Its good to know that if someone else bids it definately will go up thoughNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Hi all. What is the best length of time for a listing? 3 days, 5 days or 7 days?
Thanks in advanceNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
Please be careful, using the wrong category can get you a warning on your account and can also cost you sales.
Some things do have sub categories where mags can be listed away from the main books and mag section, but anyone like me that regularly browses the books and mags 'ending soonest' would never see your item so you are not getting the visibility you would otherwise get.
A friend did very well a few months ago, she was into horse riding and there is a set of obscure books with odd titles about horses and ponies. Several sellers listed these books under sports or even pet keeping, started at 99p and showed postage. As the titles were so obscure you wouldn't find them unless you knew what you were looking for, so she won dozens of them at 99p. Most sellers refused to sell them on the basis they would normally expect to get around £20 in total for these books, so she negged that lot and put in non performing seller complaints. Some did ship the books and she kept some and sold the rest back on ebay and Amazon at a good profit.
I am currently doing the same with a certain type of media which is being listed incorrectly and subsequently selling for 99p with a couple of pound postage.
If there is not a suitable category to sell your items, don;t chance a dodgy one. Savinf 10p in fees is not worth the hassle of getting seller performance warnings and maybe losing your account.

Good morning ladies (and any lurking gents),
I have been busy taking photos today. Had an unsucessful evening last night as Turbolister kept on crashing, strangely when I was doing my longer listings
Had to take a long break from it as it was demotivating me.
Had another sale on GreenMet today and then found that I had missed a sale from Amazon; it was made on Christmas Eve. Will send OH off shortly to post those two items.
The items I'm about to put on are in large boxes so I shall move then to the eBay room later (once I can make some space) and then I shall be able to see my bedroom floor - v.exciting!!
So now to our new thread - what would you like to call it? And have we any clever people that can then tell me what the new thread's link is (obviously when it is in existence!) so I can add it on here please?Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
When you start your new thread just copy and paste the address from the toolbar into a post here for the link
Not sure what to suggest for a titleHi all. What is the best length of time for a listing? 3 days, 5 days or 7 days?

My own preference is 10 days as you get more people look if you list over two weekends usually (Thursday, Friday or Saturday night listing for 10 days). But it depends on your item I guess. Theatre tickets I would put on for less time if they needed to be sold quickly to get to someone in time for a performance. Buy it Nows I usually put on for the max amount of time tooNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550
